Well I'll rather reply to this old thread than make a new one.

Anyways I just stumbled on NBA06's promo site and it's fucking hilarous. They've made up some rookies and made some great videos and stuff about them. It's cool, but I asume that the game itself is quit crap.

Their 'The Life' feature made me curious though. Good ofr acouple of tries I guess but the graphics are complete shit. You'd think Sony would make the graphics a lot better to show off the PS3's ability :roll:

i think the game should be good. ive been reading up on it and looking at gameplay footage and, even tho i must admit the graphics arent all that, i think it would be a good buy.

Lots of videos, the extra stuff looks cool but I'm sure gameplay is the worst. Formerly 989 sports now SCEA is the developer for NBA 06. For PS2 graphics I must say its pretty impressive, but the models need work. I like the story mode feature because it looks promising for the future.

Dunking animations don't look to bad, but the whole backboard like bends down when you dunk it looks like.

i might just rent this game.
