Did anyone see or hear about some video of some Terrorist guy, saying that "Yesterday, it was NY and London, Tommorow it will be Los Angelos and Melbourne". It was on the news just now.
He was referring to the terrorist attacks!

If Melborne and LA get attacked I'd expect even more countries to stand up to the terrorists and you'd see more troops in the Middle East.

Anyways, I've heard that being brought up quite a few times. How do you fight that? If they aren't afraid of dying, what in the world can you do? Killing them will not be a punishment to them.

Try to make it clear with whatever means they have at their disposal that by offerring to die won't land them in paradise with Allah. That's the misconception a lot of them seem to have & that is the only reason they have no fear.

If it were upto me, I'd go for the ones they loved but then again, I'd just be another terrorist then, using terror on ones family to get what I want from an individual.

How'd you know it's a misconception? As far as I know, there is no concrete evidence as to what happens after someone dies. This is one of the reasons why so many people are angry at the US these days... fighting terrorism is one thing, but to impose/force your views onto others and consequently, abolishing one's cultural identity is unacceptable.

we could easily do that but the only problem would be someone else nuking us, it would take one... mabye two nukes to wipe out the U.S. and we cant pull our troops out because we dont want iraq to retaliate because we fucked up besides the fact that we would be killing millions of innocent civilians

1. We wouldn't nuke the middle east in the first place.
2. It would take more than two nukes to wipe out the US physically, but two nukes could probably send the United States down the toliet.
3. We can't pull our troops out because we have a job to do and we're going to finish it. Iraq won't realiate. It's just the extremists will take control and Iraqis would be defenseless. We are the police in Iraq right now.
4. Like I said, we wouldn't do that.
