Wow... let's see how Spidey fix things up with 3 bad guys at the same time.

Topher Grace playing Venom ? Haha. That's crazy. I would never see him any movies like this but comedies.

Fri Sep 09, 2005 12:44 am

Topher Grace? From "That 70's Show". What the hell  Venom was a big jock-type guy in the comics, I mean ffs, his name was Brock! I would've liked Venom/Carnage to be the focus on their own, Sandman/Hobgoblin are kinda redundant.

Competely agree. I mean, I'm glad they finally got Venom in, but I would like to see a Maximum Carnage kind of scenario. Topher Grace would probably suit Carnage a little better, but shit, Venom? Pick someone like that Bana (sp) guy who played the Hulk. Or someone more psycho in a non-comical way.

Sony has been taunting us for quite sometime now and have only given us clues as to who we might see in Spiderman 3, which hits theaters May 4th, 2007

Ya, thats not really true. The bad guy is the Chameleon, and thats why both Tpher Grace and Thomas Hayden Church have been cast as bad guys, because they're playing the same guy. I could see it happening that Hobgoblin may be a part of it, or it may just be a hint at him coming in Spiderman 4.

Either way, the movie is going to have great special effects, but terrible acting to compliment the terrible writing and average directing, just like the last 2. If you want a good superhero series, watch Batman Begins. That way you actually have a story instead of just lots of swinging and explosions. And everyone here knows we could all kick Tobey Maguire's ass. But I'm sure the hardcore nerds will love it no matter what.

i just read the same thing that Kevin wrote at this website, ITS IS A MAJOR SPOILER so don't Read it if you dont want to know wats happening

Fri Sep 09, 2005 11:13 am

Fuck, I can't wait to see Venom on the big screen! :)

Fri Sep 09, 2005 11:23 am

Its not really a spoiler, because its not giving away a big secret. If they were to actually keep their identity a secret throughout the entire movie, then its worse than I thought.

Actually speaking of Batman Begins, wasn't this guy fucking awesome as the Scarecrow...

He was really good in 28 Days Later; I didn't expect him to land a role as the Scarecrow. He was a good actor as he managed to pass himself as a huge dickhead, which makes a good villan. (y)

He was in 28 Days Later? Anyway he is a good actor, just saw his new movie Red Eye which is pretty good. He also has 2-3 movies coming out next year.

Cillian Murphy did a good job in Batman Begins. (Y)
He was even considered for the lead role of Batman, but Christian Bale got the part because the director liked Bale's dedication for the role because Bale bulked up for Batman Begins just months(2?) after The Machinist, where he was reed thin!
