do you guys do this?

Well for some reason , i find myself dunkin on an 8 foot rim alot . i know it isnt a good thing or w.e , if your serious about ball 8 feet is a joke . but anyways , i find myself dunkin on 8 feet , 8.5 feet , and occasionally 9 feet (whcih i can barely do). My question is , do you guys find yourself lpaying on shorter rims jsut to dunk , or have you done it in the past , because i know that some of you can realyl dunk . but yea thats my question . me and my friend play horse alot in his backyard and i do get hyped by dunking on an 8 foot rim . i make a big deal when i do a 360 or a windmill. so asking another question , do you guys get hyped wen u do an amazing dunk , but on a short rim ?

Totally, we used to do that stuff in school a LOT, and the feeling is great when you dunk on someone, even though it's a short rim. :P

I used to do that all the time, when I was 12.

Once I started dunking on 10 foot rims, the 8 foot thing seemed kind of lame.

I still dunk on my Fisher-Price 5 foot rim. I hang on the rim and swing my feet like a crazy bastard. Usually with a smoke in my mouth and tribal paint on my face. Makes me feel really good.

Heh, I used to dunk on 8 foot nets too, doing a variety of dunks and alley-oops, but whenever Legend came over, I had to lower it to 5 feet so we could have a slam dunk contest

Definitley. I see myself reaching 12 feet by the time I'm 21, then 15 feet by the time I'm 30. :D

That's an understatement

Anyways there's some lowered netball hoops near my house in a school. They're about 8'5, 9ft... so I go up there to use the actual basketball hoops, and I find myself doing all sorts of dunks on the netball hoops. They're kinda rusted and there's no backboard, plus the ball is almost the same size as the actual hoop so I tend to get hurt quite a lot. The girls would love it, if they weren't all 11 years old. Awell, beggars can't be choosers.

Yeah I reckon, Mazz looks like a 5'2 11 year old  not that it's a bad thing, since by the time you're 40 you'll look about 21 so you'll have girls all over you.

I can only barely even touch a 10 foot rim with a leap and my outstretched arm, let alone grab it, and i'm 5'11"... maybe even 6'0".

Although i would consider myself an above average athlete.

So Mazz you must be pretty crash hot! Much respect to the awesome dunk machine! Can you say Nate Robinson?!?!

Since there's no lower rim available where I play,I can't dunk anywhere except during lunch break at school, where we sometimes go to those low (I think 7,5ft or something) rims for the heck of it.

atm I'm too heavy to dunk.. can touch the ring.. when I was lighter I could just grip the rim too handed.. I could've dunked if I could palm the ball but I have ffs european hands.. right now doing strength and conditioning training with pretty much the express goal of increasing my vertical leap..

nehow.. back at high school we used to play on courts which had the rings mounted on a steel fence.. so we used to just kick off the fence.. was great..

I dunked on a 7.5 foot rim when I was 14 years old at school. Now, I can dunk on a 8 foot rim. Anything above 8 foot, I can touch the rim but I can't hang on it. I used to drink Gatorade as well when I was 14, be like Mike!
