Just to further the point, after alot of searching I've found that...

I have locked 35+ threads, not one of them has been disputed
I have moved 29 threads, not one of them has been disputed
I have split 9 threads, not one of them has been disputed
I have banned 6 people, 1 of them has been disputed and overturned, the other 5 have stayed
I have deleted countless duplicate posts and spam posts, to give a rough estimate I'd say it's easily up above 50.

There's alot of other things I could go into (i.e sorting out the guy who made 9 threads all over the forum advertising his forum, getting rid of the guy ruining Filip's rap patch thread when Andrew and Andreas had previously been unable to, numerous IP checks and subsequent investigating to catch duplicate accounts, deleting polls/posts etc in peoples dynasties, the LankyMan fiasco etc etc) and you make this thread based on a few insults?

Spamming is against the rules. Most of the ones I listed there were either smiley posts, or things like "I agree". It's got everything to do with this, if you're going to try and make us look bad by bringing up some random threads, maybe you should try following the rules somewhat first.

Read both of the links you gave for my examples. Both of the comments I made were in retaliation to something that someone else had said. You can say "oh they were just joking" all you want, but if it's something I feel is a personal swipe at me then it stops being a joke plain and simple.

I do agree that the moderators do go over the top a bit and that normally when your a site moderator that you should have some calmness and maturing in your posting habits but in a way its good to have moderators that mix it up like the everyday member.

Im not sure why Dweaver was banned though, he seemed to be the only genuwine Bayside supporter Ive ever come across on the internet and from what Ive seen so far hes a good member and is pretty knowledgeable.

If theirs a general cause for concern with the moderators then a petition thread should be started for a rehaul of the moderating team, I mean if its a 60-40 in favour of changing the moderators and say around 200-300 members voted then I think it should be done.

I dont mind Jae or Jackal although Jae seems to have a very short temper(it seems to be an Aussie thing) and Jackal is sometimes too brutally true, I know I had a riff with Matthew about war/Bush etc but again doesnt matter whats said and done cause at the end of the day it doesnt really matter whats said to me in this forum.

Its good to argue even on the internet but theirs no need of just senseless bashing for the means of being known as someone you dont wanna mess with. Filip & Sit if you really want something done my suggestion is to start a petition thread with a poll on it and a signup list, that is if you guys are seriously sick of the moderators here.

Jae I know by doing this Filip is threatening your moderator status somewhat but it doesnt help when you just keep quoting him and make fun of him, just take it as constructive criticism and try and sort something out with Filip, you may not be able to achieve it but at least give it a try cause theirs really no point if every week a complaint thread pops up and then you reply in an angry manner.

Filip I think Ive said what you should do, but whats the point of starting this thread if you havent even asked for the action you'd like to see the adminstrator take on the moderators. Next time make sure you create a clear thread with a poll facility and maybe a solution to the problem preferably one that doesnt involving straight up banning of the moderators.

I know no one will pay attention to me since Im a newb here and I also happen to support the Clippers, but I thought Id give some thoughts and comments on this subject matter.

I've left this thread until now as it was a long day at work and I wanted to unwind a bit with general posting before I try to sort this matter out. I really don't need this right now, but it's part of the admin gig, so here goes.

The situation with Dweaver runs a bit deeper than a couple of posts, there was an issue with some private messages and Jackal had agreed to back off but felt provoked, hence the banning as the situation again escalated.

Filip, I've seen the comments you've been throwing around about me and I don't appreciate them, especially as I try to be as fair as possible to everyone and am always willing to discuss situations to find the best possible resolution. If you feel there's a problem with the moderating, I'm happy to talk about that with everyone and try to resolve the matter so everyone's satisfied.

So right now, I'm clearly and publically acknowledging that there's concern about the moderating. Now I'd like to hear some specific complaints/points of concern and suggestions rather than "this site is fucked", "the mods are fucked", "the admin is fucked" and "the choice of mods is fucked". Let's be civil about this, that's all I ask.

There's going to be some give and take on both sides. Everyone's going to have to hear each other out in a calm and civil manner. I will take action if necessary, but I think we should talk about this and get everything straightened out before I take any action against anyone for whatever. The full story, everyone's side of the story, before the final decision. I can't make it much fairer than that.

So with that in mind, let's have it. I don't enjoy coming home to this, but something needs to be done and I'd like a resolution, one that satisfies everyone. If everyone could help me out on that, it would be much appreciated. (Y)

Also CoolMAC, Jackal does not need to be threatnened by anyone for doing a service (thats right, all this is volunteer work, he doesn't get a sent for it).

How would you feel if you offered to help somthing that you like, and then get some petty threat becuase of difference in opinion? That question goes for everybody.

Everybody in this thread should thank Andrew, Jae and Jackal for thei volunteer work to the community instead of bitching. If you want to breed negativity, you won't be welcome here. It's just that simple.

That is entirely upto Jackal, and I think he is well within his right not to. Why should he have to explain himself when he was threatnened?

CoolMac, there are rules, which are generally enforced when people step over the line. Dweaver didn't step over the line. He pissed on the line.
