I was starting to think nobody on this board watches the AFL

It is unfortunate however, Nick, that No. 1 pick in the AFL doesn't make as much impact as it does in the NBA - Tim Duncan, Allen Iverson etc. were almost instant champions, whereas in the AFL it usually takes 1-2 years for even the most talented players to develop (or even get a game in the Senior Squad)

Favourite Player : Steven Armstrong

Went to school with him... Good mates. Top basketball player too. We had some good games against his team until he joined my team.

Team: Melboure/Dockers
Melbourne: Somehow related to Jim Stynes.
Dockers: Have to go for a local team and I hate the Eagles

Just as an aside, were you aware that we're the only country with the Millionaire game show still yet to give away the $1000000? Also, seems strange they hype giving away the million dollars as Eddie's dream, when it's Eddie himself who prevents them from winning it, by talking them out of the answer or continuing on.

I live in Sydney & barrack for Melbourne....My fave player is probably Trav Johnstone...im a little disappointed that over the past 2 seasons we seem to have lost our 3 best players (woewodin, farmer, powell) but I still think we'll be a very strong team this year with our new recruits, Heffernan & Moorcroft (i hate that guy, I wish he had of stayed at essendon) and with Guy rigoni back in the side......

go the pies, and buckley is by far the best

i'll awnser all your questios about afl seeing as i know pretty much all there is to know

"free agents" as they are called in the nba are drafted so it evens the comp out more, the team who finished bottom gets the first pick so therfor they will most likely get the best player and improve themselves,
rather then nba its just to wants to pay them the most or where the player wants to go

dontfeedthedog, the kangaroo's havnt got a city because although they are based in melbourne they play alot of games in canbera who havnt got a team. They changed their name because they will proberbly move up to canbera full time in the future so it's easier to stay just plain kangaroo's then have to change city name's aswell later down the track. And if incase you were wondering why they play in canbera and why they are most likely going to move up there it is because they are struggling financialy, teams arnt owned by people like in the nba, they are considered company's. So if they move to canbera they will get bigger crowds and therfor more money then in victoria where there is the majority of the teams
