2000

i'm not one for calling attention to myself but i figure i'd make one of these milestone threads since it is a semi-accomplishment. it took me over 2 years to get that number

a little history:
i first visited the nlsc site looking for lutz's roster update. i think i googled nba live 99 (?) roster updates and it spitted out the nlsc. i think i first started visiting forums to see the previews for jersey, players, shoes updates.

i didn't much post much in the beginning, as this was my first forum i had actually signed up for. it was amusing reading some of the 'interesting' threads like shower fun, or that dude being pissed about his nba live, or the starting lineups thread. it seemed like a fun place, sometimes things would get too far like who's the best patcher or the flame wars between the forum vets. so i starting posting mostly in nba section and occasionally in the nba live sections for a leon smith update, which i would get flamed for haha....

the much coveted (or not) shoutouts:

andrew: for running the site and always being game for some bulls conversation

jae: the guy behind the scenes. is a good guy with a great sense of humor

matthew: i know you're still lurking you bastard

to the wise posters in the nba section: gloveguy, fgrep15, fanofall, maes, matt, sauru, amphatoast, jeffx, indypacers67. sorry i'm leaving out a few but those are what came to mind right away

to the lakers contingency: sit, laddas, all kobe user names, etc... the flame wars were great. the past few years have been fun rooting anything anti-lakers. i'm hoping next year the rivalry will resurrect

mafia: the biggest homer i know

jackal: the little wars aren't like they were before. maybe in the future there will be something worth arguing over rather the petty stuff

i'd like to say more but game 1 is getting close to starting. maybe i'll edit it more for the shoutouts

getting to 2k is more of a reflection of the site & community. so thanks really to all...

Congrats on the 2000, despite the spats and all you make a very good contribution to the site. You know that takes alot out of me given I love to dislike you.

Anyways, keep doing whatever it is you do in the NBA Talk and the NLSC is lucky to have you aboard.

Good Job on 2000 posts, buddy... Nice to see you always being active and knowledgable in the NBA Talk section of the forum... even if you're a Bulls fan :wink:

Keep it up... and keep an eye open for Stromile Swift being traded to the Bulls this summer, for Chandler AND Curry... :lol:

You're a good poster and I'm assuming you're a good mod too, either way the "MODERATOR" badge looks pretty under your name so I think it should stay there for now :lol:

2000 is an achievement for someone who only really posts the most in one section, although to be honest it makes me scared and afraid that COOLmac already has more posts then you.

Anyways, here's to hoping you can double that amount by the end of the year 8-)
