College Part III

Postby Matt on Tue Apr 19, 2005 3:55 am

I figured I'd make another college thread and see what evertyone else is up to.

I just completed my first assignment for the semester, i did 75% of it tonight, and it'd due tomorrow. I've been sitting at this comp since 7pm, and now it's 1:51am. Too much stress. The work load is just starting now though....I'm dreading the Corporate Law test :( 2 weeks away. In 7 weeks exams start, that's pretty close. I hate how they are always around Finals time.

my assignment is a big pile of shit, my answers are wrong, the figures dont match up, i was making so many errors....sleep deprived. Fortunately this thing is only worth 7.5% Precious sleep awaits...but in 4hrs i gotta wake up and make a good copy of what i've done....that'll take about 1 1/2 hrs.....but 2morow night is sweet old freedom.

I'm in graphic design, and while everybody's studying for final exams (which started today, and it goes until the end of April) I'm just putting together my portfolio and handing it in on Wednesday. I'm pretty much done, so I don't need to study for any exams.

Good luck with your exams, it sounds brutal for you.

I'm in pharmacy and boy do I hate all these biology classes, right now I am studying for my test tomrrow and been studying for awhile, too much info to memorize like each plant or animal's classes haha

only thing I hate is why am I studying about animals and plants life cycle and such when that does not have to do with me selling drugs in the future...

I'm in exam crunch time too... Have 5, did 3 of them already... 2 to go. Finish on the 28th. And then work on May 2nd... got a pretty sweet job, but I'd rather be chillin in the Dominican for 2 weeks.

Also, I kinda want to leave here just because I don't want to deal with school work... but then I kinda don't want to because the people here are wicked. Ah well.

Work hard, carefully follow instructions, engage in class discussions, and never miss a class or a deadline. It sounds simple, but it's easier said than done. Working hard will ensure quality work (which means putting in lots of hours while starting with a good concept and composition). Not missing a class and engaging in discussions will give you those valuable participation points, and making sure that your work is clean and professional will give you a bonus in the technical end.

Bottom line, start projects early and never do anything at the last minute. Congrats on your acceptance, and good luck!

whats up.

well this semester was pretty fucked up, the college had a total of 14 strike days (no joke) because of union/wage problems. that totally threw me off though which ended up in me slacking like a mother fucker and not trying as hard as last semester.

having said that, i passed my 2nd level criminology course with a B-, psychology course with a B+ and i'm still waiting my mark for my philosophy final and i still have to do one more.. hopefully all goes well though

I'm in my final year of highschool, I still have absolutely no clue as to what I want to study. I'm leaning towards a bachelour in Law though. Just Dutch law doesn't seem to appeal to me.

Oh well, that's for later.

I still have to give an exam for each of my 14 orso subjects.

Which reminds me, I have a presentation tomorrow which I should probably commence working on.

Going to my final year of college...gasp! hehehe and I'm just 19 :P

I'm working as an intern at a company's IT department for about 2 months since we're forced to do so for this summer term (yes, it's summer here)

Yeah!! that's the most feared subject here in my school. For some reason they make accounting really hard here even though there isn't really a degree for accounting here.
