World Poker Tour

I think I remember Andrew saying he didn't like World Poker Tour being showed on ESPN or something along those lines....

well was watching it on free-to-air tonight out of the corner of my eye and was pretty impressed....I had seen bits and pieces of it before but had never really watched a whole episode....but since I might start playing 2 card poker (or whatever they play in WPT) on Friday nights (small stakes of course, each person brings in $20, winner walks out with all of it I guess) I thought I'd give it a watch....

enjoyed the strategy of the game, the bluffing, taunting, etc....

let me know what you guys think of World Poker Tour

I don't think he didn't like WPT being showed, he just didn't liked being used every time ESPN didn't had an important NBA game (ASG, Christmas day, etc).

I like those kind of games. They try to trick their opponents, act like they have shitty cards, bet everything trying to win...

true....yeah, it was something along those lines....although, it's more the cruddy golf, tennis, fishing shows, etc that take up all the espn time....

but yep, the guy tonight was down by $400k ($500k to $100k) and came back and won it....glad the Kamikaze lost
