Animated gif problem

Postby Ruff Ryder on Fri Mar 25, 2005 9:42 am

For some reason or another I can't see animated .gifs on my computer. All I see is the first frame. I'm using Firefox, but it doesn't work with IE either. I can make them but if I save them, I can't watch them as an animated gif. Just the 1st frame.

Any help/ideas?

Could be a problem with your firewall, not allowing animation from some sites.

Where would I find an option to change it?

I had that problem but someone told me how to fix it. Anyway if using IE go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced---- Scroll down to the MULTIMEDIA section and check mark the options relatings pictures. I forgot what one to check but i am lazy to check. Hope that helps

Doesn't help. I had everything checked but one on IE, then I checked that box and still nothing.
