NLSC Reality Show - Official NRS-Talk Thread

Before we start, for the less "mentally enabled" amongst us this is Jae... I'm just using this account so that I have another PM inbox and it won't fill up as quickly as my Jae account will. Anyways, I did say in my last post that there would be a medium-sized surprise to come, and this is it... remember, I did say medium sized.

Everyone joining the NRS probably expected to be working on their own, individually trying to win the prize at the end... whatever that may be. This will not be the case. The 24 participants have been split into 6 groups of 4 people. The groups were picked entirely at random, I haven't played "favourites" and the order I drew the names are the order they appear. Some of you might have seen "The Apprentice", in which the two groups have to pick their own company name. I've already assigned names to each group, and from now this is who will be where....

You will have to work in groups for the tasks, not that you've got to consult each other 100% on everything but the way it will work, is that the losing group will have to nominate two members of their own group to go up for eviction. I'd advise you to ask the others in your group if it's alright to add them to MSN or whatever as it might prove to be useful to be in contact with each other, or at least be available to be in contact. The first task will begin tomorrow or the day after. It won't be too difficult, just something to get everyone into the swing of things. For each task I'll ask the groups to nominate a "leader". At the end of the week that particular person will have to report to me on how the team coped with the task. It doesn't have to be an essay or anything, but just so I get a rough idea of what's going on. Any concerns just post them and I'll answer for you. One thing I'll ignore however, is people who have a problem with the group they're in. Part of the challenge is dealing with people you might not be too fond of. Anyways, hopefully this can become somewhat popular, it should be interesting

Given I was harrassing Jae about the post, I'll go ahead and post my thoughts so far.

I'm glad I'm in a group with Cyanide, Mafia & The X. I read many of (not all) Cyanide's posts. Pretty well grounded & a nice guy (seemingly), Mafia & I go back so that's same old same old, he's a cool guy too. The X, I pull a total blank. I'm sorry.

We can chat and decide our strategy & other stuff like who will assume which role etc etc.

To the other teams, I wish you all the bad luck one could get. May your computer blow up.

First of all, let's not make a problem about which NBA team we support.
I'm a Knicks fan like Doobie, but it won't mean that I prefer them over the other two. I happen to like Reggie Miller and Stromile Swift really much too, but like I just said NBA should have no influence.

Pffff, Rodman>Kemp. Kemp was good, then he sucked. Rodman "sucked" then became good. Rodman still able to play while Kemp is paying child support out of his ass.
