the shooter was arrested before for thinking about doing this. How could people not keep an eye on this kid?

Yes, it's all over the news here. It's basically what the whole news is about. It's scary to think something like this happened so close (yet so far, about 150 or so miles away from me).

It's sad because they say he killed his grandparents too and he was smiling and waving as he was shooting the kids.

This is going to bring back the high security days for kids in America Im sure where kids waving chicken legs and going bam bam at their teacher will be expelled etc.

It is disgusting and sad, but seems like it could have been prevented. Hopefully this will make the U.S. government take a longer look at protecting its citizens from other citizens, instead of only the "evil doers."

Terrible. Just terrible. This kid had no reason whatsoever to do the shootings, and if he did, his motives are not clear. It's a shame this had to happen, and condolences go out to those who had to die and suffer.

Well in the article it seems that he had become fairly upset and depressed because of what had happened to his religion/culture on his reserve. It mentioned he was fairly angry about how less than 1% of the people in his reserve could actually speak their native language, and he blamed it on interracial mixing. He had a point, but its no excuse to murder innocent people.
Another thing that upset me in that article is the fact that his now murdered grandpa's house that both his police issue handhgun and shotgun were easily accessible to the kid. To quote Chris Tucker, 'guns don't kill people, stupid motherfuckers with guns kill people.'
I think there should be a better monitoring system of what is said on the internet. If this self proclaimed Angel of Death shows admiration of Hitler's policies and is visably depressed and jaded, to go along with his arrest for his plans, this should have been nipped in the bud awhile ago. If people have a problem with the lack of privacy when it comes to what they write and read on the internet, too fucking bad for you. If you're not a true threat to be involved with someting like this, then you have no reason to type it ore research it.

Well from what I'm reading from the posts, I would not be able to tell that he would go off on a shooting rampage. You can't arrest someone for not committing a crime. Innocent until proven guilty...

Back in 6th Grade, one of my friends got Suspended for sticking his hands out and going "Bang Bang!" in front of a teacher.

I saw it on the news as well and it was on channel one at my school. they said he killed his grandfather or grandmother or one of them and took their bullet proof vase along with the guns. I know that certain person wouldn't do anything like that in a ghetto school especially with the way those kids act and probably carry guns with them too.

Well those are all mankind's creations... so either way, it's us. Well except for weather disasters... but then again, some of those are created by us too.

A lot of people have different ideas of how the end of man will happen. Most religious people think it will be "judgement day" and others think it will be a giant astroid (DOOMS DAY) or some kind of nuclear.

Me? I'm just glad that I won't have to worry about it in my lifetime.
