nice idea. but the laslo/chatterbox idea just doesn't fit IMO

wasn't really into NBA Live before 2003 so

From what Ive played...

NBA LIVE 98 ---- 5.5
NBA LIVE 99 ---- 7.0
NBA LIVE 00 ---- 9.0
NBA LIVE 01 ---- 5.0
NBA LIVE 03 ---- 4.5
NBA LIVE 04 ---- 8.0

Ive played Live 05...but thats just on the XBOX....exhibition games n Ive tried the dunk contest like twice...so I cant give 05 a proper rating.

No kidding! I was screaming bloody murder. I was playing 2000 until they released 2003, which still didn't have that realistic simulation gameplay as 2000. How the hell do they go from a great game in 2000 to one of the worst in 2001? They're supposed to improve!! Arrgh, when it comes to NBA Live criticism, I get a hot head about it.

cyanide you have all those games in the PC? what are you using a UFO emulator? or an snes emulator? i can't seem to find nba live 97 and 98 for the PC...... i have em in cartridges you know the snes ones

most seem to agree on that 2001 is the most fucked up nba live ever....but hey others still like it....i mean only one person that is.

and nba live 2000 got a 10 rating!!!! that's like a perfect dunk or a perfect dive IMO (Y)

After I gave up on NBA Live on PC, I had Live 2003/2004 on Xbox but I was still playing Live 2000 on PC instead of the newer ones. Live '05 is the only game that's really made me want to play it more than Live 2000 and that's mostly just because it's 'newer'.

when it is newer means, it will have more features and more stuff. thats prolly th eonly reason i'd stick for nbalive 2005 than 2000..but that old 2000 is a classic...my most treasured game of all time........i have burned it 3x to have twice the backup since my CD's got this scratches all over.......i aint lending it to noone and the only person who can play with it will be me...and my future offsprings :lol:

The older ones I played on Sega Genesis before playing the PC versions. The only game I didn't play was Live 2002, which was never released on PC, which is why I gave it a 0.

never played 2000, but i had the most fun with 2001 .. then 2004, then 2005.

2003 is absolute garbage, i still have fits everytime i think about it.. that game was poorly, poorly made
