ESPN College Hoops 2k5

Anybody played this game yet? I picked it up last night just to try it out, since most people say its better than MM2005, and I have to agree. The players look alot better, and most of them have real faces, not 100% accurate, but way closer than MM2005. Chris Paul looks like Chris Paul, Taft is Taft, etc. Also it doesn't have that stupid CAP limit like MM2005 and its tons easier to edit players names. I timed how long it takes me to edit the names of a whole team and it took me 4 minutes! It also has most of the alternate jerseys too. It just doesn't have real shoes.

basically the same as nba 2k5, but the FT shooting engine is different. the only sports games worth buying from EA are baseball and madden. everything else stick with espn.

No no no, Live is better than ESPN imo. I was playin espn the other day and the clippers committed 64 turnovers. It's got a lot of bugs. It feels more like the NBA though, but thats about it. It's not as fun.

there are a few bugs, but in terms of gameplay espn is a lot better.

Yeah ESPN kills Live basically because my version of LIVE Freezes up, I'm stuck with NBA 2K5 until 2006.

College Hoops is the shit, man. I've had MANY Overtime games, many intense 2nd Halfs.

I once played a Duke/Maryland Game and I was down by like 3, and there was like 3 Secs on the clock so I took this Bench Rider for Duke...handed him the ball, and nailed the THREE. It was overtime then. yeah woooooo.

Ughh, who the hell plays with Duke? You have freaking J.J. Redick in your starting lineup, and you take a second-stringer to hit your last shot. WTF?

And I do love College Hoops. To me, it's a much more refined version of ESPN NBA. Everything runs smoother, and the games are much more realistic.
