PIMP my ride!!!

just saw the other day at MTV a guy got his HONDA CRX pimped by west side customs. man that was the first car i ever driven to about 6 years ago till my dad sold it.

now i got a dark grey nissan sentra super saloon 1994 model with 1.6 liter gasoline engine. full power and cpu controlled.

i was hoping what cars you guys have or cars you have driven and what age is allowed in your country.

i have a 1998 honda civic its a black coupe 5 speed leather seats. i put in a 300 dollar stereo system and pretty nice rims. it also only has 65k on it (Y)

however, my girlfriend bought me a 2000 toyota celica red 5 speed for valentines day, so now i have a choice every day :chug:

good for you. i too have a white honda city type z given to me during my gf's and me aniversarry. but that baby can't reach topspeed like the 1.6 liter nissan though :twisted:

like how much does it ran in a liter of gas? (per gallon)

mine ran about 9kms per liter.........so it ate about 35-38kms per gallon..

and boy if i scratch anything in there plus the power windows and locks it will surely leave me with a big hole in my pocket......

oh, im not talking about it eating my money through gas, just that i was young and wanting to fix up my car so it ate my money when i fixed it up to how it looks lol
gas wise, im getting more miles per gallon then normal car of mine (Y)

ok i get it........fine tuning a car from paint job to the wiring and accessories will really ate your budget like a hungry dog eating a pan pizza. right now i dont have airconditioning because i got holes in my evaporator and it will cost me half a month salary if i get it fix. i was planning on a vacation anyways so i'm into my HONDA city type z right now.which is very economic in terms of miles per gallon.(its a 1300 engined car)

just bought a 1991 Nissan 300ZX (see avatar - photo doesn't do it justice, looks better in real life)

it's a sweet ride....car is great condition, engine and interior....only thing better would be if it was a turbo....it's has a 3.0L V6 engine, which is still alright....probably coulda got a turbo but woulda cost an extra few grand and insurance is through would go through the roof (is already quite high as it is)....

who knows, maybe I'll throw in a turbo once I hit 25....

I'll take a better pic later and post it if thread is still alive....

nah, shit no....I'm 23, Rating 1 (60% discount), paying about $1,000 a year....have high excess though, like $1,400 if I cause crash or it gets stolen....I ain't gonna crash it as I'm a good driver, unless it is the other person's fault....

was surprised to get insurance that cheap as next best one offered it to me for $1,700....the rest didn't want to touch me with a barge pole and wouldn't offer me anything.....

if I had twin turbo model (which flies) insurance would probably be around $3,000 I'd say, and that's with discount....but I'm not sure....didn't check it out....maybe someone else can let me know....

anybody have modified guys.......theirs like 1 modified car per every 5 normal car here.....I mean its so annoying to see multi-coloured cars with no silencors n some dude with some funny looking shades n hair driving it.
Fast n The Furious has spawned a generation of Vin Diesel's and Paul Walker's.....its coming to a point where theirs no place for drunken drivers....
