I really didn't want to report this, but this week we saw the return of LankyMan *yawn*. The attention seeking little kid with big thick eyebrows made yet another return, and even tried to tell me it wasn't him until a trail of stupidity gave him away. He's already started making friends as we've seen, and I'm sure he'll fit in just fine
Also this week, religion was the word of the erm... Word... dominating most of the conversation with COOLmac's illiterate ramblings about Satan's friends and such being discussed by Jona and the promising new comer bullsfan... who doesn't seem to want to actually contribute to anything other than religion threads. The NLSC Basketball Profiles proved to be popular, while Sit's constant weird school happenings meant he made more posts this week on General Talk then he ever has before from what I've seen. Andrew also returned from holidays after being held as a prisoner of the United States for crimes against humanity. Happy days.
POSTER OF THE WEEK
It's been a tough one this week because there's been so much activity, so in turn, I've decided to share this award this week...
Jona2112 & cyanide
Jona has been one of the most active posters in General Talk over the last week or so. He constantly contributes to threads, and still manages to do it in a decent way without resorting to spamming. The "Sir (person)" thing is a little bit annoying these days, but other than that he's turnt out to be a pretty solid poster. Another one of the new guys who has fit in quite well. He has on occassions shown "n00bness" with the quoting of quotes that have already been quoted, but other than little nitpicky (Tales' favourite word) he's a welcome addition to the NLSC.
Cyanide isn't quite as active as Jona, but his posts are all quality and he never seems to get away from being a good poster. Has only recently started posting more and more, which is a good thing because I think the place needs more people like him. I'm not sure if he'll stick around as much once the religious threads disappear, but hopefully he'll stay around and contribute to the other quality threads... except the rap ones, of course.

This is one of the funniest threads ever. It turnt into some form of demented MSN convo eventually, but the whole thing is full of laughs. Sort of. Even a mini-flame war chucked in there for good measure. The girl who made the thread resurfaced a couple of times, and actually by the looks of things the fact that a girl made the thread promoted more girls to "appear". We were pleasantly, and rightfully surprised about this.
2: My Little Brother Is Going To Aussieland!
Oh boy. This started off innocent enough, well that was until Nigel decided everyone from Australia was a mass stalker and wouldn't tell us even what state his brother was going to visit. The ongoing flames between Shane, Yohance, Matthew and I just erupted into this thread as it quickly descended into probably the best flame war of all time. I even managed to put forth a convincing statement that Australian is a race... I was that good

I guess we all expected this one. It started off stupidly enough, with some moron claiming that Kevin Garnett's natural position was point guard. Yes, point guard. My only real claim to fame in this thread, is that I was the first one to post a lineup full of players in their "natural positions". Otherwise this was basically dominated by the spa... er... posting of Matt and Stevan. They even had a race to see who could get the 1000th post in the thread.
TOOL OF THE WEEK
Well, two days ago COOLmac would've had this award wrapped up for at least the next 3 months. Then came the return of LankyMan. Is there a bigger tool to have been to the NLSC in recent history? At least Homor knew when to shut the hell up... he said he was leaving for good, and did. LankyMan on the other hand not only returned as "Captain Kirk", PM'd me at .org to say it wasn't him and then linked his picture from a LankyMan photobucket account. Moron.

Post Quality: Well, LankyMan is arguably smarter than James, but the constant whinging and bitching put me off big time whereas James was always coming up with something funny and quote worthy... unintentionally. Advantage: James
Social Circle: James often spoke to most of the NLSC vets on MSN, and was even the subject of a Book Of James... which was basically a big MSN convo where we came up with "Chapters" about his life. That was fun. LankyMan on the other hand, apparentely has no friends. Advantage: James
Outside The NLSC: This is where it gets interesting. You see, James had a girlfriend... I can't even remember her name now, but anyways we finally got him to invite her into an MSN convo. Where we soon found out she was being paid $15 to go out with him
Soon after she somewhat fell in love with me 
On the other hand, LankyMan's done internet dating... so at least James actually got to speak to a female. Advantage: JamesConclusion: Well, James lasted ALOT longer than LankyMan and wasn't socially outcast either. He was a nice guy, and is now in a band which I'm sure will do well if Ben promotes it as well as he should. The winner of this weeks competition, is James Basore.

NLSC POWER RANKINGS
I've cut the list down to 10 this week, so there will be a few missing that were on the Power Rankings last time. Take note though, if you didn't make the top 10 that doesn't mean you're not out of consideration. So many guys could've easily slotted into this list, but having 10 just makes it easier for me to write it all up.
1: The G.O.A.T. (Last Week: 2, Up 1)
Another very solid week from the youngster. Keeps in front of Jowe just purely because Jowe got alot of posts due to COOLmac's stupidity
Continues to be one of the best in General Talk2: Jowe (Last Week: 1, Down 1)
Gets another mention in Burn of the Week. Constantly finds cool ways of insulting dumbasses who happen to come across the NLSC... probably searching for animal porn on Google or something. "Ooohh what's the National Liberation of Sexual Cats society?"
3: cyanide (Last Week: 16, Up 13)
Probably the biggest mover we've ever had in the Power Rankings, which is amazing considering the long history it has. Posts quite often, but pretty much never spams which is an effort in itself. Hopefully he'll stick around and continue where he left off.
4: Sit (Last Week: 6, Up 2)
Made a blindingly good start to the week with his "stories" thread, which is always entertaining to read. Seemed to be pretty quiet on other threads, instead really just sticking to his own. That wasn't enough to stop him moving up though.
5: Jona2112 (Last Week: Unranked)
Co-poster of the week, and deservedly so after jumping right into the top 5. Has shown alot of potential, hopefully he won't fall into the spammer trap that seems to draw alot of people in. Is one of the most active posters on General Talk.
6: Matt (Last Week: 3, Down 3)
Got bumped out of his position this week by cyanide, Sit and Jona... isn't going to fall out of the top 10 any time soon though. Contributes in most threads that pop up, and doesn't really spam that much either... must've got it all out in the I cannot believe... thread.
7: Jackal (Last Week: 9, Up 2)
Was even more active this week than last, and as we all know it's a very very rare occurance for Jackal to post anything under 40 paragraphs
another quality poster, if he had the activity of COOLmac for instance he'd be a lock for #1.8: Najira (Last Week: 11, Up 3)
Posts alot and is a definite mainstay here at General Talk. Keeps the Rock thread active, as well as contributing to basically everything else. Is also possibly starting an NLSC sim league which would be pretty fun, if he ever got Live '05
9: SkipToMy_Lou (Last Week: 10, Up 1)
Another active one but spends the majority of his time with fellow gang$ta's in the rap/rnb thread. Is always very consistant in what he does, and much like Matt rarely spams it up. Has the potential to go higher, needs to "broaden his posting horizons"
10: TheCambyManVol3 (Last Week: 7, Down 3)
Only just squeaks in before JoeBuddah pretty much due to lack of posting activity. Puts in alot of effort in other forum sections though, and right now as far as General Talk is concerned him and Joe are neck and neck. Joe needs to step up the activity to regain the lofty heights of 3 weeks ago.
