The Michael Jordan Burger at McDonalds, it was sold here just after Mj returned after his 1st retirement. I was just wondering to see if this was a commonly known/sold burger or just some stores around the world got it.

Tue Feb 15, 2005 2:07 am
Er no. Thats the first time I've ever heard of it.
Tue Feb 15, 2005 2:07 am
Nope. There as been nothing about Jordan for like 7-8 years exept for when he retired and got like a 30 second segment on a sports show...
Tue Feb 15, 2005 2:09 am
ok hmmm seems odd that my state/country was 1 if not the only place to get this burger.
Tue Feb 15, 2005 3:08 am

I was born in 1990. So I'm guessing no. I believe he came back in 1994 for the first time. So I can't remember that far back.

Nah, Curacao never had anything of the sorts, the closest they've come to having something similiar to the US Mc Donalds would be the Monopoly game thingie.
I missed the McRib.

What did the burger taste like??
What were its ingredients??
Tue Feb 15, 2005 7:21 am

u sure there was a McJordan in Australia?
Tue Feb 15, 2005 11:40 am
yeah I'm sure I remember the ads for it and eating it alot. It was basically a Big Mac with bacon tomato and i think ketchup instead of mayo(special sauce). It was officially hot.

Ditto. That's actually surprising. I found this quote from a thread called, "Famous Food Flops": McDonald's Michael Jordan Burger - a hamburger with barbeque sauce and about six other ingredients. Went over and landed with a thud.

The burger was quite nice actually was my favourite burger that mcdonalds ever released.
Tue Feb 15, 2005 12:12 pm
The triple cheesburger and double quarter pounders are the best burgers mcdonalds has come up with.
Tue Feb 15, 2005 12:15 pm
double quarter pounders are up there in my books too.
Tue Feb 15, 2005 12:17 pm
Doubl equarter pounder with cheese and bacon. And a milkshake. That's delicious stuff and is what you do if you want to gain five pounds in one day.
Tue Feb 15, 2005 12:22 pm
The Big Xtra was great when it first came out, and I'm glad they kept it on the menu; but these days I'm choosing a quarter pounder with cheese instead.
Tue Feb 15, 2005 12:43 pm
Double quarter pounder for me.
