Little bit of excitement this week, but not much. It's been quiet for flaming in the NLSC, which in my opinion is a good thing (because I'm the one who's got to deal with ti
) but for the purpose of reporting news, it's not really that great. Ask James. We saw Jackal start posting more often than before, which is good, we saw thegreatdivide start to entrench himself as a regular member of General Talk, which is good, we saw Matthew (TheCambyMan) return after such a HUUUUUGE massive long break 
which is good, and finally we saw TMACool posting like some form of Filipino Homer. Not good.Also on the news front, Andrew went on holidays leaving no one in control. While it could turn into some sort of disaster area here, it didn't, or hasn't and that's always a fair effort by everyone involved. I know how tempting it is to act like a 12 year old (ask GOAT, he has no choice) but everyone's behaved well and should all be congratulated. Congratulations. The Power Rankings got even more difficult for me to do when I realized that the fact that I haven't looked in the Rap thread for about 6 years meant I had to go back and see who'd been posting. Especially since I didn't realize Skip had actually posted in General Talk this week

It was a difficult choice this week, and although there were other notable contenders I decided my favourite poster this week was Mr. Will Sit. When I first saw him posting at the NSLC I thought he was a bit of a retard. Never posted anything literate, constantly tried to be funny and wasn't and just generally annoyed me. Fast forward a few months, his literacy skills are better than most people, his posts are interesting and well thought out and he is actually really funny when he wants to be. Well done Sit, you deserve it.

I'm not sure it's fair to call him a moron, because he is intelligent enough, but the constant attention seeking and subsequent hissy fitting just annoyed me to death. Even the attention seeking didn't bother me all that much, it was the constant psychotic retaliation to other peoples insults that did it. Throw in the fact that he made me stay up until 4am splitting his threads on this shit connection.

Didn't really bother too many people, didn't really post alot but god damn this guy was a fucking idiot. He migrated from .org where they all hated him and just started posting at the NLSC. It began well enough as he only seemed semi-literate as opposed to fully illiterate, but it just went downhill from there and by the end of his stay here no one knew what the fuck he was on about anymore.

NLSC POWER RANKINGS
This week a fair few people dropped a bit, this is not because they haven't been good posters or anything but it's really difficult trying to "reward" everyone who's posting well, just because the place is going quite well at the moment and there's some good posters around. Don't get annoyed if you drop, chances are you can just go straight back up next week.
1: Jowe (Last Week: 3, Up 2)
One of his most active weeks, it's difficult to find a thread that Jowe hasn't actually posted in. Also got Burn Of The Week to go along with the #1 ranking.
2: G.O.A.T (Last Week: 4, Up 2)
Had another good week, and while he didn't quite equal last weeks feats he did do enough for me to seriously consider making him #1. It was really close between GOAT and Jowe.
3: Matt (Last Week: 2, Down 1)
Gets bumped out of the top 2 by G.O.A.T, but still had a good week all the same. Is as active as ever and still contributes to General Talk. Could easily be #1 next week.
4: JoeBuddah (Last Week: 1, Down 3)
Lack of activity is the reason JoeBuddah's dropped, nothing else. Didn't quite match the amount of posts as he had last week, and so got overtaken by these guys.
5: colin826 (Last Week: 8, Up 3)
Had another productive week and managed to jump up higher in the rankings. Said he'd post more in the off season but doesn't seem to want to wait.
6: Sit (Last Week: Unranked)
The Poster Of The Week makes his entrance into the Top 18 and jumps straight to #6. Made alot of interesting posts about school + life, and gets some bonus points for his MJ thread.
7: TheCambyManVol2 (Last Week: Unranked)
Abandoned the NLSC for ages, suddenly turnt up out of nowhere and started posting like nothing had happened. What about the children Matthew? Think about them next time.
8: Mazzocchi (Last Week: 10, Up 2)
Climbed up the ladder a bit, mainly due to that awesome picture of Carnage and Venom he found. Hasn't made another spam thread, but plenty of interesting news.
9: Jackal (Last Week: 13, Up 4)
Finally started posting more regularly and is rewarded for that. Was only a tiny bit away from taking Mazzocchi's 8th place, but maybe next week.
10: SkipToMy_Lou (Last Week: 7, Down 3)
Made most of his posts in the rap thread, didn't really venture ouside of it all that much this week. Another one who could climb easily.
11: Najira (Last Week: 6, Down 5)
No particular reason for him falling 5 places, just a mixture of in-activity and other people taking his spot from last week.
12: Drex (Last Week: 11, Down 1)
If Matthew hadn't come back, and Sit didn't talk about his school life then Drex would've actually climbed 2 places instead of falling 1. Had a solid week.
13: Null17 (Last Week: 15, Up 2)
Moves up after posting a bit more regularly. Is one of those guys who could become regular fixtures in General Talk if he wanted to.
14: Gloveguy (Last Week: 14, No Movement)
Stays the same, balancing out last week's performance. If only he had as much time to post as someone like R3M0, top quality poster and one of the NLSC's best.
15: The X (Last Week: 8, Down 7)
Falls a fair bit due to mysteriously disappearing from General Talk for a while. At the moment he's still one of the most underrated guys here.
16: cyanide (Last Week: Unranked)
Had a really good week post-wise, is an intelligent poster and doesn't seem to say anything that pisses me off. Which is a bonus. Potential to be in the top 5.
17: Riot (Last Week: 18, Up 1)
Didn't really post alot but hopefully if I gradually move him up week by week he'll post more. Ok that's a lie, if he doesn't start posting more I'll drop him out of the list
18: Wormy10 (Last Week: 12, Down 6)
Same as Najira. Didn't really do anything to warrant dropping so far, but wasn't as active or as noteable as last week. Another one with some potential.

There we have it, once again this is just a bit of fun so don't take your ranking so seriously or anything... I'm thinking about making some sigs for the weekly awards, just so whoever's the Tool Of The Week can be proud of that fact and continue to piss me off while having a sig saying they do the aformentioned.
