With six-tenths of a second left on the clock Monday night, Guilford guard Jordan Snipes rebounded a missed free throw, turned and heaved the ball.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=1981494Just saw it on ESPN Motion, it's friggin crazy...
They were trailing 88-89 and after the last missed free throw the dude just threw the ball and they won it.
I'll try to post the clip here soon... somehow
ps. I figured this would be better in General since not many people will read 'Other Basketball Leagues' but maybe interested in this. Please move it if you still find it incorrect, if so I'm sorry.

That was amazing. In the Sportscenter Top 10 it was Pick number 9, 7, 5, 3, and 1!
You quoted twice though.

You do know after the "New" Sportscenters, they rerun it until like 10AM.
Wed Feb 02, 2005 10:51 am
They showed it as pick 9 and said "If taht was number 9 I can't even imagine what number 1 is". It was pretty funny but I was mad Jermaine's block didn't get on there

"When the referee came and said it was good..."
I think even if he was a bit after the buzzer, the ref would still counted it seeing as it was such an amazing shot
Wed Feb 02, 2005 7:06 pm
i'd like to see Derek Fisher do that!
Thu Feb 03, 2005 7:08 am

I'd imagine that shot pretty much maid that guy a celebrity around town.
Getting free dinks, signing autographs and of course driving around in something like

If I was on the team that made that shot, (or the one that actually made it) I could probably touch the top of the backboard. Is there a way to save this clip? This is one for the ages..
