cd ripping problems

Wed Feb 02, 2005 5:50 am

I've got LL Cool J:s The DEFinition, the official cd right beside me here. It won't play on pc and it doesn't allow ripping, it crashes the program and etc. I've tried musicmatch jukebox, windows media player, cdex and creative musicsource manager.
I assume this is one of those new "pc-protected"-audio cds, but it doesn't read anything like that anywhere, only thing that is written is the "enhanced cd"-logo.

Is there anything I can do to get this cd to mp3-files to my hard drive? This is the official, legit cd so what the f##k am I supposed to do?
Is there any program or any other method to do this?
please help me

You can try iTunes.

search for hack ripping progs but be wary of their adware.

thats a copyright license CD which artist of today uses. Try also ripping it in another CDROM drive of another pc or a DVD copier/player. sometimes the CDrom drive doesnt have the firmware to rip it.

Try out a program called ARES, Its free has no virus's whatsoever and you can get any song you want. Make sure you get the ARES quick download tool too.

this ARES program is some sort of KAZAA isnt it R3MO? have you tried it? are there enough users to get a descent download?

Thu Feb 10, 2005 12:58 pm

Yea you can download a full movie in 20 minutes if you have the fast Download Thing. And yea its like KAZAA but its much safer and faster.

That is correct, he got banned. Idioticy is one thing, but to try to threaten people here with physical violence is simply not accepted here.
