Well, as we can see many players have tried to rap, some good, soem bad.
altho i don't really listen to rap that much, who are the top 5 nba rappers in the league right now? post their song that made them stood out if possible so i can listen to it

I moved this becuase while it does involve NBA players, its not about the nba, its mainly about rap.
The only rapper I like from the nba is iverson. I havent heard Artest yet though..

Are there even 5 NBA rappers. I can only name Kobe, Iverson & Shaq.
Fri Jan 14, 2005 10:49 am
Ron Artest? I cant think of a 5th one though.

Chris Webber

hehe Kobe's album was suppose to be rap, but sounded more alternative.
Fri Jan 14, 2005 2:43 pm
Oh yea, C-Webb. He had a song with Kurupt called Gangsta Gangsta...I actually like that song but mainly cuz of Kurupt.
I think Artest is just starting a record label but everyone is saying he's a rapper. The group he's been trying to promote is Allure...a female singing group.

Webber ghost-produces under an alias. So I haven't (knowingly) heard anything by him yet.

Dudes, TROY HUDSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fri Jan 14, 2005 3:36 pm
iverson a.k.a Jewelz by far had the only decent stuff...better than that garbage like Cam'ron n co.
Fri Jan 14, 2005 8:03 pm
Dana Barros, Walt Williams & Moochie Norris. Walter Mcarty has his own label & R&B album. Didnt little Muggsey have a rap album as well?

All the dudes with braids/cornrows are GANG$TA
GANG$TA = Rappers
so there must be more than 5
Mon Jan 17, 2005 6:26 pm
hehe ok maybe this topic was a bust

i really thought there would be quite a few with records though since many players listen to rap and they have the $$ to do whatever they want to.
Mon Jan 17, 2005 11:14 pm

shaq feat. WC and nate dogg is good too

Man, there was a song by 50 Cent feat. Capone (from CNN) and Kobe, named "Thug Poet Remix". Perfect song - Kobe got skills. C-Webb also appeared on Naughty By Nature's album from 1995 "Poverty's Paradise". The best NBA rapper is K-Mart though.

Oh, by the way: Do you know the newest and official NBA song? Called "Fight Music Remix" by D12, featuring Kandi-Man, Nene, Big Ben, Tru Warrior (Artest), Stephen Jackson and Jermaine O'Neal. Man, they got some hot lyrics to the song's name... I mean, they're actually really experienced in that stuff.
