i thought it would be cool if you post steriotypes about anything.
in everyday life ignorant people such as myself and many others
walk around thinking these statements to be true i want to rid this
habbit by emphasizing on some common steriotypes.

all british have bad teeth
us americans are all fat
fleamarkets have tons of bootlegs
white men cant jump
coca cola had cocaine in it at one time
russians drink a lot

I lived there, and the large percentage have less than acceptable teeth. It's not pleasant.

If I remember correctly Americans have statistically the highest level of obesity in the World. Might be wrong on this though.

I have heard this before, i dont really understand where it comes from. Im 1/2 English 1/2 Italian and i dont have Bad teeth, maybe my teeth come from my Italian side. I dont know anybody with really bad teeth.
Although i was in a fight in a club and got head butted and 1 of my front top teeth got broken in 1/2, so i had that capped, SO i suppose technically i have bad teeth, not that you can notice i have actually had it capped.

Maybe im so used to seeing “bad teeth” that i dont notice it anymore. When you say large percentage, how large would you say, 60% or maybe 80%, thats just daft.

As i was writing i started to think about my friends, family and anybody else that i run into on the regular and i decided that i cant defend this stereotype...cos its probably very true. I would say that more than 50% of people over here have less than perfectly average teeth, making “Jae's” (Cough*""wanker""*CoughCough)statement pretty true. How ever, its not terrible, im not talking about people smiling and showing them shiny black teeth, is aint anywhere near that bad, but stereotypes are always taken to there extremes.

2) One that is regarded as embodying or conforming to a set image or type.

Some people don't understand stereotypes here (ahem Lankyman's last post) - it's when you look at something fitting into a certain preset category in society and assume that everything in the group has the same characteristics (which usually isn't true) - ie all teenagers are shoplifters, all blondes, cheerleaders, jocks, and blonde cheerleading jocks are dumb. etc.

If you're going to post, make sure you know what you're talking about.
