if it's emailing an attachment using your address perhaps there's a virus on your computer.

The thing is, I'm not getting emails from NLSC members etc... but the email is saying that I tried to send that email, I'll do a virus scan when I can be bothered.

that's just a virus/spam, no need to have a virus on your computer, it's just another trick used by virus mails to mislead you
