ok, im doing a Business degree at Uni, my 1st year and let me tell you bout my experiences

1. You have so much free time you don;t know what to do with it.....ive started working out, reading etc.

2. Work is piss easy, and you have few, but heavily weighted assessments. This semester I have 3 assignments and 2 test (doing 4 units) and then the exams

3. Uni is easier than HS

4. Chicks!!!!!!!!!!

5. did i mention the free time?

yeah is it easier than high school? man the first 4 years of high school i was such a slacker.. took shortcuts doing hw sometimes not doing it at all, not handing projects in etc.. but last year i smartened up, worked my ass off and pretty much became an A & B student.. but yeah i was pretty stressed out because i never worked that hard in school EVER .. to sum it up it took a toll on me physically

free time sounds good i've been working out a lot lately and my school has a really nice gym so i think i'm gonna utilize that.. i'm probably getting a job too :).. so how are the people there? are they pricks or are they outgoing

well, yr1 seems easy compared to HS.

In HS i did Chem & Physics.....don't get that stuff in Business. Although if you do engineering it probably won't be easy...but my course is easy relative to HS

wat course r u doing?

everyones pretty outgoing which is great. You'd be surprised how many dumbasses you will find.....unless your going to Harvard or sumthin

my 1st year is starting on the 7th.....

damn... i'm so not ready.. but i had a tour/orientation of the place this week... it seemed pretty cool... unlimited free access to gyms, library with xboxes and ps2's.... open labs to play games after 4pm... wow..... :D
and 1.1gb of storage on the school's ftp ....

i just hope my workload won't be too much... and actually have free time to enjoy these things....

I found uni easier than HS too, way less hours, no uniform, come and go any time you like, and it's a fresh start, make friends with whoever you want. I also found people to be outgoing and stuff. But waaaaaaay too many girls in my current course have boyfriends, like 95%. It's sickening.
There's less pressure because whether you just barely pass or whether you have perfect grades, you'll get your degree at the end of the day.

"theres a time and place for everything....it's called College"

best days of your life are ahead of you. Criminolgy+ Psychology is real interesting but i don't think theres many jobs on offer.

Unlucky bout the 95% Stevan.....i'd say at my Uni it'd be lower than that. You could always make em cheat  I guess at Uni you have 'serious' career chicks, well that's how the stereotype goes anyway. It's total BS.

Mmm... but there will be other people in the same situation as you, that you can relate to... and mostly make friends with anyway.

LOL how cool is that, my old Uni has a bar, and it's bar night every Thursday too. I never went because I had to drive an hour to school, and you can't drink and drive until you have your full license
Might have to go back now though, a guy at my current uni used to go and he calls it the "Easy bar" for obvious reasons :D

when we went for our orientation the queer center lady was like " yeah everyone's welcome.. bisexuals, homosexuals, transsexuals and even you straight people.. just as long as you have an open mind.. " everyone just went

yeah we had all that shit too. The "same sex attracted" people would put their posters everywhere with their meeting information and shit. I should have informed some homophobes, or ordered some pizzas or something!
We also had male/female muslim prayer rooms. Good to see funding is well spent  I'm suprised I never heard of any mass bashings at my old uni, though there was that one time a guy shot up everyone
