Is K West overrated as a producer?

ok, we all know that West has been producing hits but is he getting too much credit for his work?

first off on a lot of his songs he just grabs an old school slow jam and then speeds it up. Any producer will tell you that starting from scratch is much harder.

secondly, have you noticed the violin in a lot of his songs (Jesus Walks, Two Words, Breathe In Breathe Out, Workout Plan and Twistas- Overnight Celebrity)? all the violins are produced by Miri Ben Ari (the chick in the Overnight Celebrity video with the violin) and i think this adds sumthin special to the song. I think that her work is often mistaken for Kanyes.

I wholeheartedly agree. There is no need for barbie dolls to be anatomically correct! If the kids are too stupid to know the difference, they need to be shot.
