Forum skin change

http://www.phpbb.com
they have some nice skins there (Y)
i haven't checked out all of them yet but the default subsilver skin looked pretty good to me... it's just a lot more easy on the eyes than the forum skin we have here.
Andrew, if you're not interested in changing the default skin, at least add some new ones so each user can select the one of his liking :)

Speaking of the main page...

Are we gonna change the main page again this year?

I don't think a skin change is necessary; I shall borrow from Wal-Mart: Good. Works. (Y)

sigh...
all i'm asking is to bring back the default subsilver skin. you don't even have to replace the current forum skin, just add it to the forum so that we an choose whichever skin we want from the profile.

I'm not planning to completely update the design this year. Perhaps some of the logos will change. I would rather focus on the content in the immediate future.

Adding more skins is something I'd like to do, including a retro blue and black design. At the moment it isn't feasible, but maybe in the near future. There's just a couple of things going on behind the scenes as well as my paying job which is a little time consuming. I'd also rather make sure the new rules are in place and being enforced before seeing to the superficial elements.

Absolutely. I'd prefer to leave this design (or something similar) as the default skin as it matches the design of the main site, but I'm happy to add some alternate designs for people who don't like the default scheme or who would like a change every now and then.

A retro skin would kick ass.

Custom color schemes can be created with phpBB itself also, or isn't that what you mean?
