Jack Nicholson sits behind home plate with a Yankee hat (wtf was he smoking) that was in Laker colors. Billy Crystal was there to support his Yankees and some hot chick from the old show Who's the Boss was there. Fastfoward to the eigth inning and Eric Gagne comes in to face Alex Rodriguez (the 250 million dollar Yankee). The crowd is on it's feet as they attempt to pump Gagne up. The crowd hangs on every pitch as they anticipate either a homerun or a strikeout . On this day in front of the Dodger faithful, Eric wins as he strikes out A-Rod. The crowd goes wild and I'm jumping up and down calling out all those lame ass yankee fans to stfu.
The game winds down and as my friends and I are about to leave we catch another Kobe sighting as he is escorted to a black SUV with tinted windows. My friend calls yells "KOBE!!" and then we see a flash of the peace sign from the Laker star. As we make our way to the freeway, one of my friends gets the idea to stop by staples to check out a taping of a local fox sports report. We see fox baseball expert Kevin Kennedy giving his analysis in the studio and we cheer "go Dodgers!" The anchors turn around and acknowledge us. One of my friends then points out ... "hey they are wearing jeans and tennis shoes." We anxiosly await each time the camera turns to one of the anchors and we then run to that camera to try and get on TV.

Later we see a guy in a sports coat and jeans with a briefcase ... it's Kevin! I run up to him and ask if I can shake his hand. He shakes my hand and says "thanks for coming out."
All in all it was an awesome baseball day, who says that baseball is dead in America. I got cheap seats (and by the looks of it the view was not cheap at all), got to harass Yankee fans who didn't belong in Dodger Stadium, Gagne struck out A-rod, the Dodgers won, saw some celebs, and got on tv.
