Can you solve these riddles?

I'll start off with some baby riddles

1.)Take 3 oranges from 5 oranges.
How many oranges do you have?

2.)How many birthdays does the
average child have?

3.)You have two coins that total 30 cents. One of the coins is not a nickel. What are the two coins?

4.)Pretend there are 8 red socks and 8 green socks in a bag. If you reach in without looking, how many socks would you have to take out to get a pair that is the same color?

You can post the answer

Mom, Dad, and 2 kids have come to a river, and they find a boat. It is small and can only carry one adult or 2 kids at a time. Both kids are good rowers, but how can the whole family reach the other side of the river?

It's a long answer-well sorta.

- Two kids row first.
- Then one row back with it.
- Mom rows over
- then the kid that was left row back and picks up the other kid.
- Both row over. One rows back and gives it to Dad.
- He rows over and gives it to the kid
- the kid rows back and picks up the other kid
- then they row over...

Did you read it off of the website, cuz I saw that hair curlers joke there too.

New Riddle

You whiz around the corner in your rented moped when suddenly you're forced to come to a sudden stop.

It seems a funeral procession has stopped for a quick breather. Empathy overwhelms you and you offer your condolences to the whimpering man nearby. "Were you close?" you ask, wishing you hadn't.

After a moment, the man replies, "Brothers and sisters I have none, that man's father is my father's son."

That sounds sarcastic, you think to yourself. Maybe the guy doesn't want to tell you, which is fine, but there's no reason to be a smartass about it.

Or, perhaps the clever among can see this is the real answer.

Who is the guy that is crying?

I think i might have seen it yesterday when i was looking for riddles to post.
It's not realy a riddle, as much of a math-problem realy...

Hehe, i've seen this one before, but the question was diferent... Something with a man on a picture...
I'll let someone else figure this one out then.
