PC Baseball

Hello everyone. Does anyone here know what happened to the High Heat Baseball series by 3DO? I always loved that series of games because they had the best management options ever created for the PC (MUCH better than Triple Play or MVP Baseball), plus a bunch of classic stadiums. Haven't seen it since 2003, but they were selling the 2004 version for about a month, then it was gone. If you have any details on this, please let me know. Hopefully, if High Heat Baseball isn't coming out ever again, MVP Baseball 2004 will be just as good like the reviews are saying. I really do miss the old series though... The Dodgers will never be the same with out it.

i'm a high heat fan too, but i've read some people's preview of mvp this year and the franchise is supposed to be the deepest of any game. from what i read not only do you have control over the minor league teams, but you can also play all the minor league games as well for your team. i thought high heat was the best baseball game and planned to stick with it, but i definitely want to check out mvp this year.

Thanks for the information, and yes, I did hear about those new features on MVP Baseball. They sound good to me, however Single-A teams won't be in it, and I know from experience that the Dodgers have a GREAT farm system that I hope to duplicate when I play them on a video game (Except the horid work of Dan Evans in the big leagues). Does anyone know if Microsoft is going to develop the High Heat Baseball series? I think it has some real potential if a few things are tweaked (Like Bugs and Graphics). From my experience playing baseball games, I've noticd that EA Sports has had the best graphics, while 3DO had the best baseball management options. I trule believe it will take a lot on the part of EA Sports to duplicate or even come close to those great management features.
