Great Idea! (Game Project)

.its a game where u a basketball player(Along with people online)but start out as a Sorry(Rated 60,) now what u gotta do is make yourself better so u can get pick up buy a team (There are also Coaches)and make yourself more better so u can make your player and your team better and u can make yourself a Point Guard,Shooting Guard,Small Forward,Power Forward,or Center but your coach can change your position u can also make your own name and height and weight and more stuff when u make your baller.the ways u can make your person better is (Open Court games,pratices etc.)u can't use NBA or NCAA people Names and It has to be a real name (ex. Joe Jackson not The Answer)u can have nicknames thats if u want 2(ex Shawn "FLash" Jackson.in the game theres the NBL(like NBA) league and theres NBL Pre-League (like NCAA) and theres Free Agent (Thats where u start out if u dont go to Pre-League)well theres alot of stuff to talk about but i will update about this game on this board.and u know there be NBL drafts and stuff like that.Its like we are in a real NBA life things. some one can do this on NBA Live 2004 or something.i just wanna be a player or owner or something i just wanted to know if some one wants to do this idea.

so u can be a player or you can own a team

no not make your OWN video game like a new type of league where your the basketball player unstead of the GM

yea people from the forum create people and there in a league
or you can be a coach/owner and Have or own team so u can build your team.



EX(if u want to be a owner/coach).theres a whole bunch of people that created there people right so you own a team now what you gotta do is you gotta scout them while they are building there stuff up and then when the draft/signing day come you pick up people and then your in like a real life type of basketball thing like assign practices,to summer camps,to trades, so stuff like a real owner/GM/Coach would and stuff and stuff like that(im thinking of stuff in this game)

EX(If your a player)now start as a very bad player (like rated 30 or lower ;NBA LIVE 2004 WISE) now u gotta build your person up so u can get drafted or get signed to a team

How to get your person better

there will be NBL Practice,Pick up games,Tournaments(3 on 3,4 on 4,or 5 on 5 for this i need to get 3,4,5 people to sign up)u need to sign up for those things il and i will sim the pick up games or other games on NBA LIVE or Fastbreak or something. the practice/games and buy the end of the week (sunday) il will but up a list of people that got there Attrabutes point but on there will be a deadline time for the sign up so u need a sign up before the deadline time or u can't to go to the event.(this is on offseason and when your not on a team)and on the season u can practice with your team or something



So i just wanted to know if some one was interested in doing this thing i would start this league this up but im lazy and i just wanna join was a owner or staff or player or something

OOOO OK!its a league like the NBA and your a player in the league like in the NBA your on a team with different people in the league and other person owns the team and your trying to do that people in the NBA is trying to do. you kinda get it now right?

Example

lets say you name is Corey White(your a small forward/Power Forward 6'8 230 ILBS) and your young (18)

so u can go to college and to to the Pre League(NCAA) or the league

so u go to straight the league

now u just entered the league on offseason so your rated 30 now you got different stuff you can do u can go to a summer league and get your ratings better go to a pick up games and get your rating better or try and find a team champ to get you ratings better. now lets say you get your rating better from a 30 to a 52 then u enter the draft and get selected to a team (the Dragons on a second round) so now you have a choice to go the bulls champ to get better or not go and still go to the pick up games lets say you go to the champ and go up to a 52 to a 57 and now the Dragons decided to sign you for 2 years now your on the team and lets say im the Owner of the team so i signed you now lets say the season goes on and u go to the practice and stuff and u avg 11.2 points 7.2 rebs and 2.1 points and remember now you teamates are real people online and lets say u started not going to the practices and now for a 54 and now u drop from a 11.2/7.2/2.1 to a 8.8/10.1/2.1 so i decide to put you as a Power Forward and now u get it and plus, i can trade you and waive you and stuff i dont know what u run this thing on (Fast Break or NBA LIVE '04 or '03)

fastbreak would be more practical to use since ften people couldn't play in nba live at the same time right? this idea of yours would require a lot of players though seeing that u also need gm's and stuff.

yea thats why i only gotta start with 8-10 team only when more people come il extend more teams

so il need a total of 96 to 120 people

and 8-10 Owners (Owners are Gms,coaches,and scouts)

the Owners can get some Help with those stuff IF THEY WANT TO.

its a good idea IMO. but realizing this idea would take a lot of work and skills by some people. unfortunately, i dont have the skills needed... ehhehe im in if thisll work out though

i would run this thing on NBA live 2000 but i dont have it for PS2 but i dont have it for PC i have it for N64 and u can only create 12 people i think......

but does anyone have an idea of what system or game this league could u think it should be runing on becuz i think i gonna start this thing (Since no one wants to)

how bout running it on internet xplorer kinda like the fantasy leagues and virtual gm things online. but make it to satisfy the needs of your ideas. on the simulation part u could use fast break

thats a good idea but i never did a fanstasy or Vitual GM thing before (i can't believe I didn't) so u gotta tell how it is gonna be like (give me an example)


edit: i just read how to play on vitual gm and i kinda get but u gotta give me in example

how about u put a Practice Day when people just tell me something they get gonna work on and il Sim it and theres gonna be a deadline to it so people are gonna miss the practice day and there gonna be lil pick up 5 on 5 inside court games and people then just sign up for it or something like that
