Barring the LOTR series (wasn't great, but I didn't hate it), and the dislike of pre-93 Celtics and Tayshaun Prince, I completely agree.

Tue Oct 16, 2007 4:16 pm

How can you you not like Will Farrell? He is absolutely hilarious.

Tue Oct 16, 2007 4:17 pm

oh man I almost forgot Tom Brady, Carson Palmer, and Matt Leinart. All of them are a bunch of tools.

and Will Farrell is a Ben Stiller wannabe. He isn't even funny half the time.

Tue Oct 16, 2007 4:36 pm

Oh, and also the Pats aren't my least favorite team. I just don't give a shit about football at all.

Tue Oct 16, 2007 5:19 pm

Will Farrell is a Ben Stiller wannabe

That is an insult to Will Farrell. He is infinitely more entertaining that Stiller.

Tue Oct 16, 2007 5:23 pm

Agreed. I used to like Ben Stiller. He was great in Heavyweights, Zoolander, and Meet the Parents, but his comedic style has gotten tired to me. Will Farrell can make me laugh by doing anything. I especially love him in Wedding Crashers.

Ben Stiller-Excellent Bad Guy comedically: watch Heavyweights, Dodgeball to see instances of this. He's not all that funny in the Meet the Parents series, he benefited from a couple good one liners in the script, most of which involved De Niro (I have nipples Greg, can you milk me?). Outside of those movies, Stiller's pretty damned annoying although i usually end up seeing his movies anyway. Heartbreak Kid is rated R from farrely brothers so i may check it out.

Will Ferrell-Yes sometimes he's not funny (see Kicking and Screaming, large portions of Elf *disclaimer: not to say i didnt like elf, just wasnt comedically excellent*) But check out the stuff where he doesnt have to hold back because its family television or Film. Superstar is absolutely hysterical as is Anchorman. That may be benefit of good scripts, but theres nothing wrong with that helping your comedy

The similarity between the two is right now, they're much better in small doses due the market being flooded with poorly made comedies every year. I understand not everything can be comedic gold, but i walk out of too many comedies going "meh" that should've been hysterical (Balls of Fury). However when Stiller and Ferrell jump in as cameos (Pick of Destiny for Stiller, Wedding Crashers for Ferrell) you can still see why so many people flock to see their flicks.
And now, back to the topic
Least Favorite Movie(s): Tarantino except for Reservoir Dogs, any of those new horror films just showing people being tortured (Saw, Turistas, Hostel...why the fuck would you wanna watch that?)
Least Favorite TV Show(s): Gotta agree with Qballer here, fuck Laguna Beach or any other thing showing spoiled rich kids being sluts/dicks
Least Favorite Artist(s)/Band(s): Toby Keith, Keith Urban, hell country in General pisses me off...but pretty much anyone who sells their image more than their music like Avril Lavigne (give emo a chance q! lol...i see why people wouldnt like the bands you listed but still)
Least Favorite Song(s):Avril Lavigne-Girlfriend, Black Eyed Peas-My Humps, Anything Gwen Stefani has done after No Doubt. These all need to be permanently destroyed and abolished form the record
Least Favorite NBA Live(s): 2007...how do you forget auto subs..how?
Lesat Favorite Video Game(s): stealth games, solely because i suck at them (although i play a rogue in WoW)
Least Favorite NBA Team(s): Lakers during 3-Championship run, always also hated the Knicks
Least Favorite NBA Player(s): Vince Carter, Peja, Brad Miller, Kobe, Nocioni (every game i watch him he has at least one dirty play), Ginobli, Telfair, Any player that hypes themselves more than they deserve
Least Favorite Sportsperson/Sportspeople: Andy Roddick. Any NASCAR driver who calls himself an athlete
Least Favorite Sport(s): Golf, Tennis, Lacrosse
Least Favorite Sports Team(s): Lakers, Packers, Yankees, Mets, Knicks, STL Rams, Chicago Cubs (this year wasnt their year...poor babies)
Least Favorite Shoes: not an issue
Least Favorite Actor(s):Nicolas Cage, Kirsten Dunst, Drew Barrymore, anyone who gets an acting career with no basis in acting (dane cooks not an actor, or at least shouldnt be considered one Q..)

Yeah, Qballer, I don't get how anyone would hate Prince.

Qballer wrote:Least Favorite Artist(s)/Band(s): Good Charlotte

Why does so many people hate Good Charlotte? Is Joel Madden's voice really that annoying?

Wed Oct 17, 2007 8:44 am

yes, it is annoying. and i also hate Ugg boots on girls wearing skirts. a big no-no.

Qballer wrote:yes, it is annoying.

Beyond which, Good Charlotte are simply a really terrible band.

Wed Oct 17, 2007 9:18 am

Somehow those bands sound the same (but again TheMC5, you can bash me on this)

Wed Oct 17, 2007 9:21 am

Well, I'm not excatly ready to get into a argument based on music preference (which is pointless), so whatever.

uhhhhh the fact that they all sound like whiny, bitchy, white, no-talent ass clowns that can't sing might be it.

Ween whiny? The Books are mostly electronic with very little singing. I'll just leave the no-talent part. Oh, and TV on the Radio are 4 black dudes and 1 white guy.

Wed Oct 17, 2007 1:05 pm

Nah, maybe I just feel that they are Green Day wannabes.

You've never even heard most of those bands, have you? None of them bear much similarity to Green Day.

Grammar Nazi!

Wed Oct 17, 2007 3:27 pm

I don't see any noteworthy grammatical errors in your message, so how was I being a grammar nazi?

Wed Oct 17, 2007 3:32 pm

Then why did you bold the spelling mistake in exactly?
