So much for a long title reign, a real shame because the last few months have been his best run in years.

They said that he get that injury just before backslash. And to think he fought LMS with that. Wow!

The bad news is, im assuming that they will give the belt back to Batista and he will feud with Mark Henry...

Raw: Cena feud with Khali
Smackdown!: Batista feud with Henry

Guess ill just watch Vince and ECW for now..

It seems as if the Great Khali is going to get his hands on the WWE title. Personally, I'd love to see ANYONE hold the title except Cena. The main event should be unpredictable and exciting, and it's not the case for RAW. The Wrestlemania match and the hour-long RAW match for the title was predictable to say the least, Cena is probably more protected than the President right now. I'm guessing that Cena would be fed to Khali in order to have Cena get the belt back in order to try to get Cena even more over with the dozens and dozens of Cena fans.

Cena should be eaten alive :x . And after reading the results of Backlash especially the WWE Championship match, my head got :shake: . Like Cena was dumbfound when he pinned Orton. He picked up the loot that HBK should've won.

If Taker did got that injury before Backlash, and still put up a hell of a Last Man Standing match, he's risking his career. Although personally I prefer one last title run for Taker. But not this short :( .

I dont think they will be reforming DX when Triple H come back. Lets just hope he will take the belt off Cena when he return.

I think Taker got that injury a day before backslash so he have no choice but to proceed with LMS. I think he will drop the title next week on Smackdown! or maybe on JD.

Triple H out
Taker out (i assume)
Booker out
Lashey will be out too

And 4 of the worst wrestler in WWE will be main eventing in RAW and smackdown!. :wall:

I just hope that ECW will be at least fun to watch. (Vince, RVD, Punk)

I couldn't be less excited for Vince vs. RVD. It's going to be Extreme Rules and Umaga is going to come down and give him five body splashes.

I'm still recovering from Khali's main event push. It has led me to question my existence and the true meaning of life. Devastating, I tell you.

Well, so much for the long reign. :(

As far as Khali getting any major belt particularly the WWE title, that's just depressing. He's a terrible worker, he can't promo and one can help but feel he's only over because he's so bad, not because he's an effective heel. Might as well put every single belt on Vince and let him strut around with them if they're going to do something like give Khali a main event push.

Here's the horrible answer:
You exist to give meaning to your life, and the meaning of life is none.
There is really no meaning to life, we make and give our life its own meaning to make our existence enjoyable.

A blue monkey told that to me when I was meditating.

Kennedy got injured over the weekend and just dropped his MITB briefcase to Edge in a squash match on Raw...all his detractors got their wish, I guess...

He might be out for something like six months.

Awesome! Totally never expected Edge to get it. Kennedy should take longer than six months to rest, make sure he's in top ring shape before he hits the ring. Yeah right... Mr.Repeat-myself-twice should stay off my T.V. as long as possible...

What the hell is going on with the WWE today? I thought Kennedy would cash in the MITB at WM24? What happens now? So Edge is Mr. MITB now?

(Insert rant about the rash of injuries highlighting the flaws of the brand split and now being a great time to end it - along with the reign of the spinner belt - here)

The person who might benefit from this whole mess the most is Randy Orton, since all the rumour mills claim he's in the doghouse and suggest he's in line to be punished by putting over other maineventers fairly regularly, moving to ECW or moving further away from a title push. With all these guys on the shelf, there might not be much choice but to keep Orton in the thick of the title hunt despite the heat that's supposedly on him backstage.

Furthermore, Edge cashed in his MITB shot to defeat Undertaker for the World Heavyweight belt on Smackdown.

Man... I can't believe WWE posted that fact on their site 2 days before Smackdown on Friday. That's just ridiculous. Although I already knew this was the result by visiting a wrestling forum, I never knew the WWE would just mess up their show like that. But then again, Michael Cole is the director of the WWE website, so it explains why.

Yeah, I wish they could have kept me in the dark. Apparently they're annoyed that the smark news sites are leaking everything before them, so they threw it up on the main page. I've never been a fan of the superstar in question, but hey - it should make for some good TV.

The same can't be said for Khali as the number one contender and quite possibly the future WWE champion. He hasn't had an impressive match in his entire run and they're looking at making him the champion? I'm sure all the injuries have made them a bit desperate but if they're looking for someone other than Cena to have a title run, HBK is right there.

I'm personally sick and tired of Cena's title reign, I'd love to see Khali squash Cena to become the WWE Champion. But knowing how Cena is so damn protected, he'll probably squash Khali in another attempt to show how invincible Cena is.
