Well, when they kicked us out of the tournament we actually went to an italian place and they gave us wine for free :wink:

However, when I walked home a car came flying down the street. It then suddenly stopped in front of an Italian restaurant, a woman got out of the car and threw a big pack of joghurt against the window! That was hillarious :lol:

Trezeguet is going to get burned (as well as Platense: the place where he grew up in Argentina, because Argentineans were rooting for France all the way, except for the old Italian immigrants.)
Anyways, I think Italy played well (and against GOOD teams) ONLY the last two matches, so I don't think they deserve the World Cup more than France who beat Spain, Brazil and Portugal.
Well, kudos to Camoranesi, Gattuso, Cannavaro and Buffon who are the ones that played always good for me.
About the Zidane thing...I think everyone would have kicked the head of that pussy Materazzi. He said "Figlio di puttana" (son of a bitch), so I think Zidane's reaction was only right, and actually not that violent as I expected.
Another thing: FUCK MAZZOLA!!!!!!!!

Its wierd that this game coulda been 2-0 in favor of Italy because France's penalty was a dive and Italy also hit the crossbar on another play. France played the better overall match but in many ways were the lucky ones to extend it so far.

Oh well, 4 more years then its on with South Africa.

Damn...lame of Zidane to do that. Malouda, Ribery, Henry all had good games but they just couldn't finish. I suppose the Italian defense has something to do with that.

I'm just disappointed that his career had to end like that. It would've been a lot better to see him get the second place medal on the podium with a standing ovation.

Hopefully I'll be able to see my first World Cup in 4 years. I plan to travel to South Africa with my dad

I don't know the rest of the game, but you can see Materazzi's mouth spelling the words I said before he gets the headbutt from Zizou. I too think he's said/done something else, because Zidane isn't the man who reacts like that for only a moron saying "son of a bitch".
Btw when I saw the replay I saw Materazzi saying "Stai zitto" too which means "Shut up" but then again, Zidane wouldn't react that way for that only.
