I think Pdub's like 18-22, Being John Malkovich was made in 1999 which would've made him about 7-11 years old. Odds are it probably was him, you alcoholics disgust me.

I may be wrong, but Pdub's actually older than me and should be 30 or 31 I believe.

I turn 31 in April.

Although Jae was pretty close. I was 18-22 for about 10 years until I hit 30.

Monsters vs aliens: actually think this was way better than the past 2 animated movies i watched. Not a great story/animation: but killer voice acting including Seth Rogen, Colbert, Will Arnet, Hugh Laure, Rainn Wilson, and a ton of others in minor parts. Not greatest thing i've ever seen but it made me laugh and it entertained me for its runtime...good enough for me (Y)

Edit:watched Cannibal! the musical this morning. Silly shit made by the south park guys before they had the show. Pretty funny though.

Edit #2: Watched Smart People today..not a bad little indie flick.

I finally got to watching Avatar at Cinema in 3D last night. It was pretty good as seats were almost empty so noise or distraction was minimal. I'd say it was worth waiting couple weeks and this movie definitely is recommended to be watched at Cinema in 3D. The experience was just amazing in 3D. I've watched couple movies in 3D before, but this one definitely stands out to be the best 3D movie so far. On top of that, even though movie was long nearing almost 3 hours including commercial times, it didn't really feel like it was dragging. Overall, very fulfilling entertaining movie.

Saw The Taking of Pelham 123, which is a piece of garbage. Travolta is pathetic as usual, and having him as a tattooed gangster who yells "motherfucker" in each sentence is as believable as having Vin Diesel play Gandhi. Even the almighty Denzel can't save this.

Watch the original. (1974 one.) It made NYC ban any trains out of Pelham at 1:23 for a couple decades.

The new one is just the basic plot but made to be incoherent and altered to serve to be a star vehicle for Travolta. At least from what I got.

Funny People
An hour too long and the good part of thepremise is done after the first hour. The problem is there was sstill an hour and a half of movie. Funny at times but kinda of a shitty movie overall

GI Joe
I actually enjoyed this movie. I went in expecting shit and got yes a stupid but fun action movie. If you get rid of channing tatum it would've been fine. Random quotes from the tv show helped "knowing is half the battle" "a real american hero" "yo joe!"

Watched the Perfect Getaway. the wife picked it out so immediately i was skeptical. and Milla Jovovich in a non sci fi b movie? i didn't read any reviews to cloud my judgement

anyway... the movie surpassed my expectations. pretty good thriller.

POSSIBLE SPOILERs HERE...

if i had to bet the mortgage on who the killers were, i'd probably pass on it. the script was ambiguous enough to keep you guessing until they were finally revealed. i plan to watch it a 2nd time

definitely a worth a $1.00 redbox rental

Watched the Zemeckis Beowulf this morning. Is it possible to make an ancient epic where there arent chiseled naked men? and yet no nude women

Inglorious Basterds: One of Tarantino's best works I'd say. Amazing performance from Christoph Waltz. Lots of dialogue that were thoroughly entertaining.

Paris, Je T'aime: Short clips based on the theme of intimate human connections contributed by 18 different directors. Some were touching, some were bizarre.

Where The Wild Things Are: The kid did a great job of acting, being convincing in both extremes of emotion. As for the movie itself, I didn't expect it to be so dark and depressing.

When We Were Kings...

I love what Spike Lee said at the end, kids now days don't know about stuff that happened last year...it's scary that they don't know about JFK, Ali and other greats from the past. It was a great watch.

It was better than G.I. Joe though...Joe was just..:shake:

I've been watching movies quite a bit (again) since I got the beamer. Up in the Air is one I liked a lot, that twist in the tale is one I didn't see coming although should have seen coming.

500 Days of Summer is one I also enjoyed. I can't bring myself to watch 2012 by the way, from the trailers this is what I'm expecting from it: Main guy is in car everything is falling apart/exploding behind him. Main guy is in plane and shit is hitting the fan. Repeat with other means of transportation while shit explodes/gets destroyed around him.

Yeah...no, doesn't really speak to me. I could be really wrong and it turns out to be a kickass flick, but...from the trailers alone it looked boring.

I liked it till the cutesy fucking ending. It was great realisic story about relationships and our perception of love as young people in the modern world. But that ending negated the whole movie for me proving that no one learns anything ever and stay their stupid selves....eerily accurate movie in that respect lol

Haha, which is exactly why I liked it. After seeing it you're like okay, that won't happen again...but in real life it happens again, so not too far off.

I had never heard of a movie by Michael Mann called The Insider, with Al Pacino and Russell Crowe, and it was actually pretty damn good. It's based on a true story, when a former tobacco executive spilled his guts to CBS and it ended up with the big tobacco companies paying billions in lawsuits.
