You CAN put your keyboard in the dishwasher.

I was advised to AVOID USING the heated dry cycle - 20 minutes too late
popped ALL the keys off to allow the keyboard to completely dry
leaned my keyboard vertically against a wall and allowed it to dry for 5 days


Personally, I just popped all the keys off and used baby wipes(took 2 for 100+ keys) on the keys and inbetween them and used a screwdriver to pickout all the dust/food/dirt and hair. I didn't go for spotless, but for functionality. It was a hand me down and it is definitely better than my last one.
