Hey, free-Netflix(if true) alone is worth more than the cost of PSN+ subscribing fee. I see where they're going with this. They're at least being reasonable with this move imo.

say what about free netflix? are you sure its just not the fact that you can use netflix on a ps4 without having a ps+ membership? did i miss something?

You are right. PSN+ means Free NETFLIX subscription sounds too good to be true anyways.

The Netflix subscription hasn't been mentioned anywhere to be included in the PSN+ price. The problem with the 360's version of the Netflix app is that it could only be used by Xbox Live GOLD subscribers, which meant that it wasn't enough that you were paying for Netflix, you had to pay Microsoft as well to use the app on your 360. PSN had no such limitation.

So, once again, it seems like the free version of PSN will allow you to use Netflix, while it remains to be seen whether Netflix will become a free app on the X1, or whether it'll be behind Live GOLD's paywall again.

Its just that you can use Netflix without PS+, not Netflix being bundled with PS+....I dont know where or how you got that...but I am not surprised.

yea I'm looking pretty SOL right now. Shoulda gone safe with an Amazon preorder. Best Buy is still taking preorders, and is doing a midnight launch an hour away from me, but they want the full price paid right now. I don't trust Walmart with preorders and in-store they just direct me to their online site.


I was really hoping for a Vita bundle, maybe Amazon can come through for me still with that.

man i am flip flopping back and forth about if i want to buy this day one or not now. i for sure am going ps4 but looking at the launch titles i am starting to think i can just wait til after christmas to pick one up. of course the price will still be the same then so i might just go a head and get it day one anyway. all i really know is all the games i am looking forward to are coming out for the ps or ps3, none for ps4 save for nba2k which i am still waiting to see some previews for

At first, I was pretty sure i'd get it right away, especially for NBA Live 14, but looking at the other titles... that shit looks weak. i rarely buy games anymore, and I'd rather not buy a whole new system just to play 1 new game. plus there are 3 or 4 games in the near future on PS3 that I will probably wind up getting. GTAV, GT6, Beyond, & maybe the new Street Fighter game next year.

thats what i am saying. i went through the list of games coming out that i want and its all ps3 or pc. the racing game the crew looks real fun to me but god knows when that will launch so who knows. i have never bought a system day 1 in the past so maybe that tradition will continue

the games will come, I trust that it will not be the same situation as the Wii U right now, especially with all the Indie stuff and Sony studios in the mix. So even though the only 2 games I'll buy for the first....half year? of the system will be 2K14 and Live, by the time the stuff I actually want comes out the console is still going to be the same price, and I'll just be missing out of free PS+ games

those are really good points. I didn't want to drop a couple hundred bucks just to play basketball video games for this next season, but the free games makes it almost worth it. problem is, i don't know if I'll have time to play all these games!
