Oh yeah huh. I really enjoyed Mass Effect 2 and I am not even into all that Sci-fi fantasy space technology stuff. Definitely will be prowling for this game to go on sale soon.

OOOOooo poison arrows, have to look into it.

Got the 15X stealth dagger perk, god the animation for assassinating people is wicked. Can't wait to try Dark Brotherhood missions with it.

Found a Shout that throws your voice, its hilarious. Pick a target and a voice will shout "Your ugly!", drawing opponents near it. Draw opponents with "Your Ugly!", run up behind them and backstab assassinate them = true satisfaction.

This game is definitely not geared directly towards magic. Might need it for a couple puzzles, but you don't have to invest time into it at all bowdown. If you like RPG's at all, buy it.

Better than fallout. And it would be medieval/fantasy times with all the wizardry- It even runs better than fallout 3/nv on my system.

Take off your clothes and walk around. Some funny comments from npc's await.

Encountered a pretty annoying bug last night: I was in Whiterun, wandering around, when I got a bad memory leak and everything became a slideshow at 2-3fps maybe, unplayable. That only happened when outdoors, but there were still a few slowdowns indoors as well. I remember Oblivion had a similar issue and you'd have to purge the cells using the console command every once in a while...

I had this weird issue with all these physics sounds happening behind me, but when I turn, nothing was happening, visually. When running towards a book case, turning around and going back, I get yelled at by an npc as all the things on the shelves jumped on to the ground. I verified the game cache, and there was one file that needed to be redownloaded. It's starting to do it again.
The game's default detection for quality puts me at 8x AA, which is a slideshow in-game.

Got my first crash yesterday exiting a shop in whiterun.

I've also had issues with running into items on the ground, causing my health bar to pop up and I grunt as if damage was taken. The object goes flying a bit, and it honestly freaks the shit out of me at times. I was sneaking into a serial killers hidden fortress, nobody around and I nearly jumped out of my seat when a book on the ground 'attacked me'.

So ten days after it's been released and I'm almost 30 hours into this game, and looking at the map I probably didn't discover 75% of the locations. The game is ridiculously addictive and looks absolutely gorgeous, especially when adding some of the many mods that are out there.
This blows any other game out if the water this year (that's right benji, I went there).

Just started playing this. About 2 hours in, learning the ropes. This game has an amazing atmosphere. I just love the environment. Im taking my time with things, soaking in as much as I can. Immersiveness is not one of the flaws thats for sure.

This game is amazing. The best RPG ive ever played. Its way better than Fallout 3 or NV. The main reason why is that it feels as if all the annoyances from those titles were negated by this game.

-First of all the environment is actually something you dont mind walking around in. Just beautiful and so much more immersive than Fallout. Given Fallout was supposed to be barren land...well I guess it worked out against them regardless.

-It much easier to follow objectives and not get lost. Major point being you can actually climb mountains much more freely than In Fallout. Instead of taking annoying ass detours. Being able to climb the mountain saves a crap load of time. even if you cant still the nice environment doesnt make it a total bitch to take the long route.

-The quests dont make you feel like a total bitch. Atleast not as much. It felt like the "go here get me that, then go over there get me that" was too prevelant, obvious and obnoxious in Fallout. Skyrim there actually maybe a reward for you to go do a fetching quest...Maybe you will learn a new skill or simply you just want to actually travel because the environment is so beautiful.

Ive only gotten started....10 hours in..I love all of it. I am not getting restless about doing long missions unlike Fallout....just a great game. I WANT to do the quest, not simply want to gain XP...

You don't need to block attacks when you're a badass...

I've never used a shield or blocked. My light armor is 68 at level 40. All I wear now is Nighting-gales armor, I cannot believe how terrible the Dark Brotherhood armor looks, in Oblivion the Dark Shadow Armor you got from Dark Brotherhood was my favourite for thieves or assassins.

Here's what I use:

Enchanted a Legendary Ebony Bow for a combined damage of 100, sneaking does 3 times.

Enchanted Legendary Ebony Dagger for a total of 85 damage, sneaking does 15 times.

Then when I get bored of sneaking, I dual wield 2 Legendary Enchanted swords each with ~100 combined damage, the decapitation animation with 2 swords is fucking sick. Using the power attack while dual wielding will honestly cut the Dragon Priests health by 1/3.

Speaking of Dragon Priests, how many masks you fellas got? I think I have 3, best one doing 100% magika regen and something else. That mask, along with Archmage robes, and a ring and amulet that increase Magika regen, and my magika regenerates at ~350%, it's nuts. Also being a Vampire sucks, theres very little benefits other than increased Frost Resistance and Disease Immunity.

Okay. So I got stuck onto a quest in the main storyline where you get the Elder Scroll and read it on top of the Throat of the World. You then get thrown the past and watch Nords use Dragonrend on Alduin himself. The glitch I encountered have the Nords just standing there and Alduin flying around instead of them using Dragonrend to pull him down. Some forums say that the only way out is a console command. So I figured I'll just do other quests.

So... I finished the Imperial-Stormcloaks storyline and had Ulfric dead.

That game is just killing me, it's taking all of my free time at this point. I'm 65 hours in and probably only halfway through or less. I'm a Nord warrior specialized in one-handed combat and destruction.

I am having trouble finding which quest is the main quest, so the side quests are getting a bit repetitive. My follower Marcurio is fucking awesome and kills everything before I do, so I just hit them with the soul trap to fill soul gems and keep my items enchanted.

The main storyline branched out from you being a Dragonborn to the Skyrim Civil War. But the main one is from the Dragonborn plot, which I am now stuck onto.

Yeah. From the time that the dragon attacks you on your supposed beheading, you get to choose between the Imperial soldier and the Stormcloak rebel. I read somewhere that you don't really have to follow them to Riverwood after escaping Helgen.
