Cool, glad you like it.

I gave Mos Def's LP "Ecstatic" another chance and completely fell in love with it. Sick album. 4 out of 5 stars.

I'm going to have to download that Fruity Loops program. My debut was off the hizzook but needed better beatz.

does anybody listen to p-funk/funkadelic music? george clinton, zapp & roger, bootsy collins, etc.
west coast hip-hop (which i grew up on) was heavily influenced by it.

Doobie (who seems to be M.I.A. since the Knicks got knocked out in the first round) and are on the Childish Gambino bandwagon. there's room for more.

Gambino is a mastermind! I have no idea why I love his music, but I love his music! Donald Glover can actually somewhat rap.

Watch the Throne and Weekend at Burnies (by Curren$y) are the two albums I've been riding to. Anybody looking foward to purchase The Carter IV? Sounds pretty good from what I've heard. I know there's a lot of people that dislike Lil Wayne as of lately but I like him.

I've heard it already that's a hot track by Drizzy. He's staying persistent with his music.

well, imo that's the biggest problem with him. he's just a bit TOO consistent and all his stuff sounds the same.

im a j cole fan already. he's like drake but gives you more variety. love the samples. cant wait for his album to drop.

J.Cole is nice but I have to disagree with you there. But please clarify before I plead my case.

drake doesn't switch up his flow he uses the same tone for rapping and the same tone for singing. it was cool at first because no one ever heard of him before, but now it just gets old.

I see what you're saying about Drake but I think the fact he can rap and sing is enough. We wouldn't want his flow to change too much. Then he would have a bipolar flow like Nicki Minaj. I mean it sounds good on her but that wouldn't be a good look on Drake :). His lyrical talent is also on point. There aren't too many fucking with him right now. He's on a hot streak. He's killing every track he's been on as of lately. As for J. Cole, I hardly ever hear a change of tone in his raps either but the man has lyrics for days. I didn't quite get into "The Warm Up" but I loved FNL but its been a year since that released. I do like his two latest singles and think his album will be good but I don't think it will be better than Drake's Take Care album.

i have to agree with that, all his singles are crazy dope, but those that aren't are r&b-autotune-weak-rhymed-same-flow garbage

one non-single from Drizzy that is fire: "Say What's Real".
