BUMP. I'll put my video game HOF in order as a timeline.
Super Mario Bros (NES)
The very first video game I ever played. I would wake up in the morning on Saturdays and play this until lunchtime. After lunch, I'd keep playing until dinner. After dinner, I'd keep playing until bed time. Basic things like stomping goombas, traveling down pipes and eating mushrooms seemed so much fun. Probably one of the best platformers ever.
Spiderman (PS)
I never owned a Playstation, but I was fortunate enough to have a cousin who did. I can honestly say this was the second video game I ever played. It took so long to beat the entire game, going through guys such as Scorpion, Rhino, Doc Oc and Venom. I stopped playing it after the game was finished. I started playing it again after a few or so years with my own used PS, and when I found out about the EEL NATS cheat, it was hard trying to try and beat the game again.
Super Mario 64 (N64)
Again, I never owned a N64, but I was fortunate enough to have a cousin with a PS and N64. The first time I played this game, I practically fell in love with it (no homo). The plot was great and fighting Bowser on each of the three stages was the funnest part for me. The most stars I got were 119, and I never found Yoshi. Probably because of the final stage in Rainbow World. For some reason, I just couldn't beat it.
Pajama Sam: No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside (PC)
This is one of the games that probably hasn't been mentioned yet. You play as Sam, a little boy who discovers in a totally different world inside his closet called 'The Land of Darkness'. He's out to 'defeat' a so-called 'villain' named Darkness just like his idol Pajama Man. But right before his quest, he loses his stuff and is on another quest to look for it before he can confront Darkness. You have to have to 'click' your way through the game using the mouse, which makes the game really easy. The plot is really good for little kids and has it's share of funny moments. The sequels were great too, but the original is by far the best.
Pokemon Silver (GB)
After having a great time playing R/B/Y, Nintendo followed up with probably the best game of the Pokemon franchise.
NBA Live 99 (PC)
Sure it wasn't the best Live game, but it was the first one I ever played. Even though the LeBron era had already kicked off. The graphics sucked like shit, but the in-game cut-scenes were pretty cool. I remember playing with the almost Michael Jordan-less Bulls. There was an unidentified player by the name of 'Roster Player' who was the highest rated player in the game. He probably resembled Jordan. Aside how crappy it really is, it still gets a spot in my hall of fame.
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
Truly one of the greatest games for the GBA ever. Had one of the longest and most interesting plots of any game I know of, so when I thought the game was over, it turned out there was much more to do. The only regret I have is ending up selling this game for 'I forget why'. =(
NBA Live 2005 (PC)
It was two or so years after i got Live 99, I quickly jumped at the chance to get Live 05. Although the graphics aren't as smooth as the last few Lives, this was arguably the best Live out of the box. Great and accurate gameplay, an amazing My NBA Live menu, the dunk contest, dynasty mode and PDA upgrades plus so much more that makes this game great.
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
This game was actually originally recommended to me by the fellows here at NLSC. I got the Wii not too long ago, but I had very little interest for Galaxy at the time. This is the greatest platformer of all time IMO, even though I find it much easier than Super Mario 64 (with the exceptions of the green star levels). I haven't beat the game, since I haven't been playing the Wii much at all lately. I have 64 stars, just enough to do the final stage. But I figured I'd get the other 55 stars first before getting that final one.
