He's not being trained to do anything. He's getting paid to have his stupid name, stupid face, stupid glasses and stupid nipple ring on flyers and posters to promote events.

And as if he's gonna be the one to pay the 20 grand.

There's a story going around that some guys were hassling him in Melbourne (can't remember the exact suburb) and he used the "don't you know who I am?" line to get them to leave him alone, to which they told him they did know who he was, then took his glasses and smashed them. Apparently if you look at him in the original interview and more recent pics, the glasses are a different shape.

"Don't you know who I am?" Like he's a bonafide star or someone who has made an admirable contribution to society. :shake:

The way it was told to me, he said "Do you know who I am?" thinking that if they realized it was Corey, they would think he's cool and not want to hurt him. Strangely he didn't understand that maybe people want to hurt him because he's Corey.

That's what I meant. He must be under the impression he's widely liked and respected by a diverse group of people.

Apparently he doesn't visit these forums.

But he's not as hated as on some other boards.

Celebrity Sighting! Celebrity sighting! OMG, you actually saw him!??? Did you get his signature? What was he wearing? Did he have his famous sunglasses on? Did he have some girls around him at the time? OMG!

Ok, that was an overreaction. For some dork with yellow sunglasses and a great (sarcasm) fashion sense.

He certainly appeals to a particular demographic, no doubt about that.

Hahahahahahahahaha, but he got off easy compared to what he deserved, but the guys were that dumb to give it to him in a mall in broad daylight. Probably wants to get in on some of this fame, if you ask me.

We've got at least three guys from Melbourne here, anyone at the scene when this happened?

Wow! At least three guys! That's 1/1246667th of the population in the metro area! Surely at least one of them must have seen something happen!

That was actually the day I saw him at Fountain Gate, the fight would have happened within the hour of when i saw him.

Probably wants to get in on some of this fame, if you ask me.

It's being said by some people that the whole thing was a set-up to extend Corey's 15 minutes even further. His first "professional" party last weekend was a complete fizzer by all accounts, so the longer he stays in the public eye, or worse still, if he starts to attract sympathy for getting his arse handed to him, the more he can cash in.

The fuckstick.

Can't really say that's a suprise. That tactic has always been used.

I assume my wording of the "at least" part did not come out the way it was supposed to. I meant that I do not know if there are more than 3 people from Melbourne in these forums, not that three people probably could have saw the scene, and there may be even more.

You did the research on the Melbourne metro area population just for me? Well, I'm moved.

That is even more confusing and makes less sense than how I originally interpreted your statement.

And no, I didn't research anything.

Research is a human activity based on intellectual investigation and aimed at discovering, interpreting, and revising human knowledge on different aspects of the world. An intellectual is one who tries to use his or her intellect to work, study, reflect, speculate, or ask and answer questions about a wide variety of different ideas. Intelligence is an umbrella term used to describe a property of the mind that encompasses many related abilities, such as the capacities to reason, to plan, to solve problems, to think abstractly, to comprehend ideas....

Yes, yes, yes. We know you're intelligent, smart, and able to draw up dictionary defintions in your head. Your point? I merely used the term research as a broad term used nowadays for looking information up. Sheesh. Or do you mean that you didn't do research because you memorized all the popluation statistics for *Australian cities?

And if you didn't interpret my statement that way, how did you interpret it? That I was just asking if anyone was at the scene of the fight? You know very well I didn't say that there was a large chance of that happening, and if I did, it was a wording problem.

It turned out that Joakim_Noah13 was around there, but that's irrelevant.

EDIT: As you can see from the later posts, my little spelling mistake brought a lot of trouble, so I editied it. But I'm not that cheap, so I'm admitting it right now.

Astralia is a small nation of at least three people located somewhere around fifty thousand light years outside of the Explanotial Cortex. The terrain is harsh and inhabitable, however the three citizens it has have adapted and evolved to suit, often wearing padded sand shoes in an effort to avoid burning of the heel and foot. Astralans are a peaceful people who live in burrows and often spend days underground before surfacing to purchase supplies. Popular Astralians include Astro Boy and Aristotle.

A shoe is an item of footwear. Footwear consists of garments worn on the feet. It is worn for a variety of reasons, including protection against the environment, hygiene and adornment. The foot is a biological structure found in many animals that is used for locomotion. Walking is the main form of animal locomotion on land, distinguished from running and crawling.
