I just found from the list of trainers in the game that there is one from the Philippines.
His name is "Malakhi T. Tiko".
Just ask any Filipino what that means.
His specialty is in stamina.

Just got signed by an Australian club that gave me a few thousand cdp for doing so. I used most of that to boost my skills as much as one can do in a season. And my value is now 42.3 :P The downside with having that high rating is that every training takes forever and costs a crapload..

It's like the Phoenix Suns played against The X's team. :P

wrong, I'm averaging 18ppg (on probably just over 1/4 of the team's shots) this season....shame the team is only averaging about 30ppg

our big problem is turnovers....we don't have a PG....we have Dragon (Ben), at 6'7" & our centre, sometimes bringing it up

EDIT: Other problem is that we have no other scorers on the team. Everyone needs to work for easier & better shots. Hasn't helped this season that Sit hasn't played. he was good for about 8-9ppg.

Lucky you.... What team was that?
And yeah the training sucks when ur at high level, but we just have to live with that.

we win 246 - 0. Everybody got 10+ points in this game

So if your team (with Sit and dragon if that helps) played a real game against the run and gun Phoenix Suns you think you can hold the Suns to below 246 pts?
Since you also don't have other scorers, you think you can score over Amare/Marion inside and Marion/Bell on the perimeter?
Right. :P

wrong, I think they'd only win 226-8. I think I could score 8pts on them. I'm guessing at some point in the blowout, they would relax a little on D. I'm got a good shot out to NBA 3pt range, so I think I could drop a couple of long treys in. Whilst Sean Marks would dominate us, he'd lay off on us when defending the long ball

Sun Jan 13, 2008 11:06 pm

Great point on Sean Marks.
I also forgot that Amare looks lost on D.

I signed up a new player, I got sick of the old one since it's not too fun being a SF. My new guy's a 7'2 C called Rody Walker, I assigned the stats we get at the start only to inside shooting, blocking and rebounding then spent about a week doing nothing but betting, I've got about $300,000 now so I'm training him up.

Averages this season:

15.0 ppg
13.7 rpg
2.7 bpg

Wow how haven't I noticed this. Well, got a player in there now, any advise on how to quickly evolve into a star? Indonesian 5th division seems pretty far from that...

edit. First game I followed my team, I wasn't playing yet, we lost 191-18. Team is called Tanjung Pinang Sandworms by the way

Fri Feb 08, 2008 7:34 am

the team im on always gets flogged, it sucks hardcore. the season before i lead our league in rebounds and points now wen the team hits the court we manage about 50 points between us

Fri Feb 08, 2008 2:13 pm

I'm on Italy League 2. I'm averaging 23/11/3

Mon Feb 18, 2008 11:17 am

My guy just had a 30 rebound game, he's averaging 14/16/3/2 on the season.

Mon Feb 18, 2008 12:48 pm

i hate life, my team still sucks hardcore, ive gone from averaging over 20 points and 10 boards to 9/5

Mon Feb 18, 2008 3:56 pm

Your decline is just like Ron Mercer's. Damn the team for not using you.

EDIT: I checked up on my player in Latvia Champs (leaders division), never bothered to really check before because I have the second lowest rating in the team so just concentrated on training.
Damn my teammates sucked, and the human manager sucked also.
I may have to change my tactics and stop being a "special team player" and start hogging the ball to score and for the team to have chance of winning. Multiple blowout losses is insane.

My player went from 17.5 ppg, 15.6 rpg, 1.8 stl, 1.2 blk, 3.4 ast to being a piece of shite because I defer too much to my shitty teammates.

I created a PG named Hugh G Rection just the other day, rated 17. I noticed my team had two other pg's at 14 rating, so I figured I would start. Next time I check the team, they are both 17, wtf. The team didn't have a PF so I created another player hoping to get him on the same team, but he was drafted to a different one.

My PF is Craven Moorehead, and his first game was nice as he was the man of the match.

26 pts, 10/15 fgs, 2/3 3pt (5 rating), 3 stl, 2 blk, 5 ast, 18 reb

Wed Feb 20, 2008 3:30 am

hi guys.. i'm still playing this game

now i play in Ukraine Premier, "Rugby Player"

my current value is 40.1.. i'm averaging 16.7 ppg and 6.5 apg..

i'm a Power Forward

Thu Feb 21, 2008 8:01 am

My PG is still on that same Slovenia Division 1 team, and I'm still one of the two PGs on that team, and I'm still nothing but a spot-up shooter  . I haven't left the team because my team's manager every now and then (he's only done it twice) has give the whole team 500 Cyberpoints each. My PG using only used normal training and the Cyberpoints given to me by my manager (so I haven't once paid to train this guy) is now rated at 36.5. The game allowed for everyone to create a second free player, so I decided to create an SF, though I forgot to check the height when I was creating him, and he turned out to be slightly undersized at 6'5. Using some of the left over Cyberpoints my manager of the team my PG was on and one training session, that guy has a 18.1 rating. My SF guy is still poor so I haven't done other training other than one session, but due to winning a recent bet that had odds of 9.1x, I can now atleast bet the full amount ($35k).

For those with multiple players, does anyone know if you can transfer money, not Cyberpoints, between players? I want to transfer some of my money from my PG to my SF.

Thu Feb 21, 2008 3:20 pm

Yes, you can.

Thu Feb 21, 2008 3:31 pm

How do you transfer money between players on the same account? Please do tell, Drex.

Thu Feb 21, 2008 3:35 pm

You have to enter one of your players "crib". There will be some items (lat match, training, etc) and the last one is banking, IIRC. There you go.

Fri Feb 22, 2008 7:30 am

Thanks, Drex (y) . Damnit, if only I found that out sooner, could have started training my guy sooner, wasted almost a week doing nothing with the dude.

Tue Feb 26, 2008 3:19 am

now I have improved my averages..

LEAGUE

18.6 PPG, 54.2% FG, 33.3% 3PTFG, 77.4% FT, 1.9 STL, 5.6 APG, 4.8 RPG in 32:15 MPG

CUP

19 PPG, 63.3% FG, 0% 3PT, 83.3% FT, 3 APG, 7 RPG in 24:00 MPG

current value 41.
