Freaking awesome game yesterday!! The city went nuts. Everywhere on the street, people, cars, cops, everybody has Oilers flags and jerseys and there's Oilers signs everywhere. It was nuts, such an awesome night! Man, it's awesome, having tied it up 3-3 after being down two games! Game seven on Monday, the last and final deciding game!! GO OILERS!!!

Great game by the Hurricanes, congrats to them. They played well, Oilers gave it their best but fell short...

EDIT: Damn, despite a fairly decent job by Markkanen (spelling?), think about how the Oilers would have faired with Dwayne Roloson...

It was a hell of a run. The Oilers were the first team in NHL history to be the 8th seed going all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. They took it to game 7, but man, we came close. I can't say that missing Roloson was an excuse for our loss, but Carolina was great in that last game, though we played better in the 3rd and had several good chances. Cam Ward was phenomenal, and he has an excellent future in the league. We came up short, but the city's really proud of how far the Oilers have come
