I don't have that t-shirt. I have the "I have a good body but I don't have to alienate myself from society or eat like some form of farm animal to get it" t-shirt. I guess some of us are just naturally lucky.

I don't have that t-shirt.
Just store it for a rainy day. And the clouds are a-coming...
"I have a good body but I don't have to alienate myself from society or eat like some form of farm animal to get it" t-shirt.
Just imagine where you could go then if you took your natural physique further, eh? I guess you impose your own limitations, then.

And some of us are actually commited to something.

what is everybody crazy? Giving advice to a 12 year old about smoking weed????
Hipn- it's obvious that almost nobody here cares about you. Listen to the few who do, like Dweaver. You can find a million reasons to rationalize why it's ok to do it, "it's just once and awhile," "it's not as bad as...," "everybody's doing it," "I won't be found out," "I just want to try it," etc.
But there is a reason why you're wanting to do this, and you gotta find out what that is. WHY do you want to ESCAPE in a way that will jeapordize your MIND, your BODY, and your RELATIONSHIPS with those who CARE ABOUT YOU???
Find something else to do, man. Start lifting weights, play basketball, read, study about stuff that interests you, get involved in some clubs at school, etc...
Look man- you should be putting yourself in a position to HELP OTHERS, but by choosing this path, you're putting yourself in a position where YOU'RE GONNA NEED HELP.
I don't care what anybody else says, FOR YOURSELF, don't open this door, because it leads down a dark alley, and you don't know where it's going to lead, or when if ever you'll get out of it.
"MARIJUANA= THE GATEWAY DRUG"
Some references- look at these:
http://www.nida.nih.gov/MarijBroch/Marijteens.html
Q: What are the short-term effects of marijuana use?
A: The short-term effects of marijuana include:
problems with memory and learning (11);
distorted perception (sights, sounds, time, touch) (6);
trouble with thinking and problemsolving (5);
loss of motor coordination; and
increased heart rate.
These effects are even greater when other drugs are mixed with the marijuana; and users do not always know what drugs are given to them.
take that dime bad and throw it out, flush it down the toilet, throw it in a river, anything but smoke that crap

Wait, he's 12?
New advice: Wait a few more years. DO NOT listen to anyone who says "OMG DONT DO IT ITS EVIL IT WILL KILL YOU"... but don't do it right now, you're way too young.

I don't make a habit of reading your posts.
Alas, I don't think anyone under 15 should ever touch this kind of thing.
Fri Jan 20, 2006 11:35 pm
I've smoked weed before, many times, I was never remotely near being addicted and I've suffered no consequences from it (yes, I was this messed up before I smoked). Everyone's different, you won't die from one joint.
Jae...

Drugs are evil.

You look good (if you don't bulk too much) -> you get dweaver type of wife

. But it also makes you feel good, you're more healthy, more disciplined, you get better at sports and it doesn't really hurt your vanity. My build is more Brad Pitt- than Arnold-ish, so 220 pounds is really out of the picture. My current goal is to get in the 185 area and then go on serious definition. Then I'll see, if 220 is really what I want (although I'm not that far off that mark).

I think the money + profession would have more to do with that.
Either way, I've seen fat guys with nice girlfriends. Not all girls are shallow and baseless.
I think the amount of effort doesn't even remotely equal the rewards. I have a hot girlfriend, I feel good, I feel healthy, I'm good at sports and my vanity (hair (L)) is fine. I work out maybe twice a week, but I'm not on a special diet nor do I really have a clue what I'm doing.
I think it works differently from person to person, if you're happy to dedicate yourself to that sort of thing then fine. But I don't think it's always completely necessary.
Sat Jan 21, 2006 12:13 am
It's not the exercise, it should be the person.

i go to school and i learn pretty good, have practice everyday (even at saturdays and sundays), read news about hiphop ( stuff that interest me ), and i`m at a commercial project.....AND I STILL SMOKE WEED, am i missing something???....should i start to get bad notes now??....or what??
and besides, basketball players ( even the pros ) are the biggest drug doers, look at Andris Biedrins he plays in the NBA....and he was drinking like each night, and he smoked weed....

By smoking weed, even in little portions, you are harming yourself now and for the future.
Sat Jan 21, 2006 1:17 am
nothing is going to change this fuckers mind.
youll want to do it every day after the first time so stop while your ahead. its a big waste of money.
Sat Jan 21, 2006 1:23 am
I didn't do it again for over a year after my first time, nor did I really have any desire to. I went through a stage where I smoked every day for a month, then stopped and haven't touched it since (2 and a half years).
It may be addictive to some people, but it's not like cigarettes where it's addictive to EVERYONE.
Sat Jan 21, 2006 1:40 am
Wow, I just saw this thread, how sad..
You're just an attention whore trying to look tough on an internet forum byt making a post about weed. Some people on here post those kind of things that you can just your friends or parents or someone else around you.
I don't really know what your problem is, just go out there, buy weed and rolling papers and smoke it. If they won't sell it to you, just let someone you know get it.
You really couldn't come up with that?
And with weed, you're not addicted after smoking it once or twice or ten times. You'll need to do it on a daily basis, something like Jae said. I doubt you'd have the money though.
Another pretty important thing, did you tell your parents you're going to do this? It might sound corny, but it's probably better if you do so. I got caught a couple weeks ago when my mom found a little bag of weed and a blunt in my room and she's been tripping and asking some many questions since..

From personal experience, when I do work out, I notice an increase in health, better mental responsiveness, self confidence, and overall well being. As for the foods, I haven't cut out fast food at all when I'm in the need for a quick meal so it's not like I'm depriving myself for cravings (even though I don't really have cravings for fast food). Though it took time to adjust to initially, I enjoy a plate of chicken breast with rice and steamed broccoli as much as I enjoy a McDonald's burger, though one of the two will make me shit a little easier

That's good that you've got things going for you, but trust me, weed isn't helping any of them. And just because pros use it doesn't mean it's good or ok...

It's called personal experience Dweaver. Unless you've actually been through something, you really have no idea. No matter how many medical "facts" you may want to produce.
