Mafia, I don't know what kind of camera you have, but if you have a relatively new one with flash, I think you pretty much never will get streaks on your pictures.

I wish I could show videos of me playing in JV games during HS, but my mom is too lazy to videotape it on the camcorder. During JV this year, I averaged around 13-14ppg, 4apg and 2-3rpg starting at the SG position. The coach alternated me alot from SG to PG. On varsity, I rode the oak ALOT I got in a few times when I played and I did pretty good to be in the 10th grade and undersized against alot of players. I'm hoping I can either become a starter or become a solid role player off the bench for the team next year.

My stats from hs are:

Freshman year (on the freshman team)

11.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.2 steals

Sophomore year (on the sophomore team)

19 points, 8.3 rebounds, 8.4 assists, 2.5 steals

Sophomore year (on varsity)

6.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.3 assists, 0.8 steals

Junior year (on varsity)

11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.5 steals

Senior year (on varsity)

16.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 3.1 steals

Are you two guys considered legitimate college ball prospects? Just askin' . I know that I read it somewhere that one of the Indy's future goals is to play in the NCAA and I'm just curious what does it take to make it to the D1 or D2 program.

Those stats are more inflated then it seems. Players who get D1 scholarship offers average 20+ points and 10+ rebounds. Always.

My numbers got me zero D1 attention for scholarships. I did get a few scholarship offers from D2 schools, but I decided that I would rather go to a D1 school like Butler, try to make the team as a walk on, and be going somewhere that allows me to live in Indy, and be on my way to doing what I want to do when I get older.

How does college basketball work? Do they only take you if they've been watching you? Or can you, say get in a D1 school w/ good grades and then tryout as a nobody?

If they've been watching you and want you on their team, they'll give you a scholarship.
If they don't do that and you think you are good enough to make the team, you can come to some sort of practice at the start of the year and try to convince the coaching staff, that's is what Indy is going to try and if he manages to do so (I really hope so for him) than he is a 'walk-on'.

Teams always leave spots for walk ons because there are always some players who didn't get d1 attention who may deserve to play D1.

There was a guy for Texas Tech (can't remember his name) who was a sophomore star this year and the best player on the team, made it as a walk on.

highest level of basketball i got for school was middle school, and i only averaged 2.1 points per game

switched to XC and Ultimate after that

Naw, I am because John Calipari came to some of my team games, JV and Varsity and he saw me play before and was interested with many players on our team because I guess he was doing a little scouting so I might be able to play for a D1 school at Univeristy of Memphis. But yea he probably is, but I don't know if it'll stay that way.

I am because I'm in a foreign country so I automatically am better then everyone due to my amazing upside potential.
