Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

ar·ray
tr.v. ar·rayed, ar·ray·ing, ar·rays
1. To set out for display or use; place in an orderly arrangement: arrayed the whole regiment on the parade ground.
2. To dress in finery; adorn.
array
n 1: an orderly arrangement; "an array of troops in battle order"
v 2: align oneself with a group or a way of thinking
As you can see, your usage of the verb "array" is a total mistake.
In the first definition, it has a purpose completely different to the one you meant.
In the second one, specifically the v 2 example, it has a meaning to align ONESELF with a group. Therefore you cannot "array" (

) a third person.
My native tongue is spanish, so I don't have a perfect grasp on the English language. When I noticed that word on your shit-ass response, I thought: "Hhmm, maybe this retarded 'lawyer' is wrong...".
So, curious by the new word I saw, I went an on-line dictionary. Guess what did I found? Of course! The retarded fuck was wrong! What a surprise that was.
I just wanted to let you know, in case you decide to use your vast vocabulary skills again.
I hope you get banned, just for being an asshole, you incestuous dweeb.

I probably shouldn't get involved & I'm only going to say this once, but I don't actually mind dweaver....I haven't really read all threads he's posted in like the burn one but ahh well....at the mo I still think he's alright even though he does have a strange aversion to Luke Walton (who's in my Bobcats dynasty, but he probably already knows that

)....
Sat Mar 05, 2005 1:15 pm
Just reading this thread is enough.
Sat Mar 05, 2005 1:18 pm
yep, I'm starting to read other threads....dreamweaver, there's no need to talk down to teenagers....
I think teen years (especially latter ones) were the best....and I think as a teen I was more mature than I am now

(okay, maybe not, but you get the idea)

Nah, I am not talking down on all teenagers, my friend, just those who try to establish a sucking-up attitute upon others... Teens are the years of fierce independence and they should be treated as such. Then again, that's only my take.
I believe the fact that I mention my being a lawyer has led the younger ones to believe that I am a 40 -year old fat balding arse who just got married and is having a crack at a bunch of teens. Well, that could happen sometime in the future, but for the moment I am merely 24 and have been practicing law just for 2 years, owning no firm on my own, ofcourse. I do not not know where the whole Yeti concept came out of, but the things those kids say are hilarious. Is there actually a standing concept out there that Greek women have excessive facial hair or what?
As for the infamous "Luke Walton aversion", I chose him as my avatar simply because I kinda look like him IRL, barring the light-colored light hair that is and the 6' 8" stature. Do not worry, I do not have a shrine dedicated to Luke Walton's worship in my study guys...
As for the usage of the word 'array' in a possibly mistaken manner, I only have to say that had I been practicing my profession in any language other then Greek I would probably be starving to death right about now.
And I final word to my young friends in this forum. You should notice than when I "flame" somebody here, as you put it so nicely, I never use the use of offensive language uypon anyone. Check my previous posts and you shall see. I believe it is better when you argue back using humour rather than elaborate expressions such as "retard", "shut the fuck up" or somesuch. Kind of degrades the argument and shows a distinct lack of self-control.
This has been wholly interesting, though, and since arguing is my way of making a living I am willing to handle whatever else id thrown at me, even if just for practice. Yeti agrees,too...

Isn't it good to see Dweaver display so much maturity, especially considering he was the one complaining about that?

Awww, why are you being such a gruff. You're missing out on all the fun this way...
Sat Mar 05, 2005 9:59 pm
What are you on about exactly? I've got a feeling no one actually knows... and believe me, if anyone's on the booze here it's the 24 year old who's insecure enough to keep coming back trying to fight against teenagers on a message board.

His hangover happens to be better than your proffesion...........wait that doesnt make sense...just like your earlier essay post.

Quoting myself:"though, and since arguing is my way of making a living I am willing to handle whatever else is thrown at me, even if just for practice"
Jae™ wrote:What are you on about exactly? I've got a feeling no one actually knows
The fact that you have feelings is encouraging, although you should be putting them to better use.

You just don't get it , don't you? C'mon , it's not that hard, have another try Joe...
His hangover happens to be better than your proffesion
Now I see I have been wrong. There is definitely no-sucking up in this forum....

Dweaver's like a more mentally challenged version of Lanky Man. He seeks to be flamed probably because he enjoys the attention, that's usually the case when his wife won't suck his dick in the bedroom.
Mr Dweeber, will you please return to your regular job & stop trying to be the forum clown/sorry ass picked on person trying to defend your & your wife's honour. The forum runs quite smoothly without attention seeking 50 year old faggots that make their wife type dynasties for them.
If you really want to discuss the situation you find yourself in, (they keep picking on you for no apparent reason), talk to me on MSN & I'll advise you on why exactly they are doing that. Seriously, just shut the fuck up do whatever you have to do & no one will bother you. The NLSC has some 7500 other members, no one is dissing/beating up on them, just be another member and stop causing problems.
If you are persistant and feel this post is an attack on you and not advice, I have no problem taking it up in NLSC Court and filing a complaint to have your ass thrown in e-jail.

So.... as Kobe put it...

That's precisely what I asked you to do, genius.
Sun Mar 06, 2005 5:10 am
lol geez i don't know the whole back story of this dweaver thing and i can understand other users coming to a mod's defense but...
his "Nah, I am not talking down on all teenagers," post was very mature on his part and you guys seemed to take the wrong way. if he didn't make that post what else could have he said to satisfy the forming lynch mob?
jae you probably meant well but quite honestly, ever since the advent of the weekly awards, the general section has turned in a flame fest in hopes to make your list.
i guess it's ok to PM jackal now

That's not my problem, people can think for themselves. It's hardly a "flame fest".
Dweaver just needs to be quiet, his pride's been damaged and there's nothing more he can do to savour it.

Can I just add to that... last week we had 10 burns, COOLmac was burnt in 7 of them. He posted some joke about getting burnt, then said "Nice work" or something... people bag him for making weird posts or whatever, but he and dweaver are the same age I think, so who's the mature one? The guy who took it and laughed it off, or the one who responded with a smart ass comment.
