Mark Henry is lucky that he dosen't have to fight Batista. He would've been smashed.

Just read the results of the Great American Bash, I won't post them just yet in case anyone's waiting to catch a replay and doesn't want the show spoiled. Sounded like an OK show given it's been one of the weaker PPVs the last couple of years, I'm not sure if I'll order the 6:30 replay since I usually don't go for many PPVs aside from the Rumble and Wrestlemania unless it's a good card. And even then, Wrestlemania's usually the only one I order without reading the recap and results first.

i haven't watched it, just read the recap, but the punjabi prison match was awful. you'd think they'd come up with something better as far as excuses go, but eh. interesting finish to the rey-booker match, although nothing you couldnt see coming a mile off. kennedy needed 20 stitches to close the cut in his head, it was exposing his cranium.

SPOILER: I look forward to King Booker and William Regal on Friday night. how fun.

I've decided not to order it. I am however stil considering getting tickets for the show in Newcastle in August if a couple of mates are interested as well.

probably a good decision, since you could easily downl...get it elsewhere much cheaper.

Smackdown's coming here in October. I was planning to go but then I changed my mind considering the weak roster.

on that note:

Fox8 in Australia will be screening ECW in the old Velocity slot as of September 2.

I've pretty much given up on watching the WWE. Bores the hell out of me and I can't sit there for 2 or 3 hours watching it. I really hope they can improve it somehow, I don't remember it ever being this bad.

Cool, I guess...if they still have a TV deal by that time since it's apparently on the bubble.

I've taken to reading the recaps and spoilers first and then deciding whether to bother watching...and even then, I usually don't watch the whole way through. I hope it gets better too, it surely can't get much worse.

i won't spoil too much for my fellow austrlalians here, but RAW got screwed over this week. stephanie mcmahon went into labour monday morning, which meant vince, shane and triple h were all unaivalable for the show. they ended up having to run DX with michaels by himself. it failed miserably.

as for smackdown, they've been fucked over yet again.

recently, they've lost eddie guerrero, juventud, orlando jordan, kurt angle, randy orton, MNM, Benoit, Paul Birchill, Gunner Scott, Nunzio, and Mark henry.

Two days before the GAB, Lashley and Khali both went down to elevated enzymes in the liver.

Gregory Helms' opponent at the bash was intended to be Super Crazy (despite him losing to Psicosis two days earlier. go figure), but he couldn't wrestle, due to, you guessed it, elevated enzymes of the liver.

Also, Kid Kash is expected to be suspended after the next SmackDown! taping, probably for his use, at the GAB, of a dropkick which, since it is a cruiserweight move, has been banned by WWE.

Finlay is expected to turn face to make up for there being only he and king booker remaining on the smackdown roster.

EDIT: want proof Hogan's reality show is fake? Harry Smith, who plays the boyfriend of Brooke Hogan in the upcoming series, is set to make his WWE debut in the Orton-Hogan feud. The two will feud over Brooke. This is apparantly what lead to the change-up of the Haas-Viscera-Garcia storyline.

The Smith-Orton feud is expected to end in a Brooke-on-a-Pole matchup at Unforgiven. No word yet on whether it will be Orton's pole, or Smith's.

I think Brooke's actual boyfriend is some musician. She was talking to him on the phone in one episode, and his official website is full of pics of her and him in various "Lets go screw behind the toilets" poses.

I guess the good thing about the Harry Smith/fake side is that apparentely Harry Smith is awesome.

Eddie died, you're making it sound like the loss of Eddie's spot on the Smackdown roster is much worse compared to the loss of Eddie's life. Let Eddie R.I.P. (unlike the WWE).

You would think the logical thing to do in this situation would be to create an angle that would merge the shows and thus afford both shows to share the talent. As we've all mentioned once or twice before that'd be a fine idea regardless of injuries and talent redistribution but would surely remedy the current situation.

But I'm sure turning Finlay face will be just as effective.

Good for you. I already went to the RAW one and I pretty much saw most of the stars I wanted to see such as Carlito, RVD and Triple H. Smackdown used to have a lot of wrestlers I wanted but then they either got injured or transderred and it isn't worth it in my eyes anymore. Taker, Booker and Rey ain't going to cut it anymore. Although Kennedy and Finley is a plus. Another thing that hurts it is the fact that they sold the tickets before they posted a card (I don't think they have one out yet) since a Cage Match or some type of specialty match would've added some value to it

Yeah I don't think Smackdown isn't worth it anymore in my eyes. Most of their roster was either shipped to Raw, ECW or mindlessly got injured.

You went to the Raw Live Tour? What day? I went to the one of the 25th, where the main event was the Cage Match between Edge and Cena, although I found that match pretty boring.

matt hardy leaves the road due to a staph infection...and the smackdown roster is whittled to what?

rey, booker, taker, kennedy, batista, finlay, regal, helms, psicosis, possibly noble (not sure of his status)...

that's not good. especially when you just look at the main eventers...rey, booker, batista. possibly taker, although he'd actually have to turn up.

Went on the 24th. All of the matches were boring. The only thing exciting was HHH's entrance and a guillotine legdrop from RVD to Carlito on the guardrail.

on today's episode of "Leaving SmackDown!", Tatanka has personal issues (unknown at htis time), and is taken off th road for at least a month. can smackdown survive with only five main eventers? keep watching to find out.

really, this is scary. all from smackdown too.

reports at this stage are that although steroids could be the cause of the liver problems, a greater fear running through the company right now is that of the possibility of an outbreak of hepatitis c.
