Hey bro,I tried to run it on my PC and it worked (Y) !Sometimes the FPS is dropping but it's still playable. You just need to have right plug-ins installed  .The bad thing is that the sound also becomes slow :( But I think it can be solved  .There must be a plug-in that solves this problem...

Sound is always a problem with most emulators.

Indeed, I tried the PS2 version of SvR09 on PCSX2, and the frame rate dropped, and the sound - hard to distinguish.

Playing Mirror's Edge, but got stuck in tutorial. Rofl... Anyways, seems like a good game, and also got a high score in IGN so should be a good game. I look forward to playing it more.

You can't.

Even if you press the backdown button (LB), unless you adjust the strength sliders of the user and cpu.

Yeah, I saw the players sort of arch their butt and then just stop. I was like hmm, weird Xbox (first time playing an xbox).

What a shame, for the rest it's a pretty decent game and it's so pretty.

The most you can probably do is a two dribble move and then it's up to you whether to pass or score.

I don't know if it does really have an effect but I sometimes seem to have more chances of backing down a defender when I use the Sprint button while in the backdown animation. I backdown, two dribbles, pass or score with the different post play controls (which has a lot of button combinations btw, and that's including the shot stick), that's it. That makes it a must to consider only passing the ball to your post players when they are in a good position down low.

That's why I still prefer Live's post play (and it's Dynasty mode) because it's much simpler compared to 2K9, imo.

You don't really need to backdown in 2k9, anyways. It's so easy to get good post position. If you post up alot, you will eventually back your defender down a couple times. I still don't know if there is a trick to it or what. I've had Dwight Howard on my team for half a season, and he can backdown his defender most of the time.

I can backdown using the L2 button (in my PS2-based gamepad).

Duh, but what makes the player actually backdown the defender? After the patch it has been much harder to backdown post defenders.

Or was it because its the players' script to automatically backdown when in the post?

I played a lot of Peggle (dammit), RB: Unplugged (demo), and MLB 09: The Show (road to the show mode) on the planes and in the morning when I got up hours before Kathryn did.

Hoping to get some serious Sims 3 and Fuel time mixed in with my usual RB and Halo
Opinions are my own.
