does anyone know why the undertaker tends to disapear for long periods of time?

Fri Jul 14, 2006 12:21 am

cause he's old, tired and lazy.

Fri Jul 14, 2006 10:50 am

He still travels though, doing some house shows and post-Smackdown dark matches. It's strange that they don't use him on TV when he's actually at an event.

Fri Jul 14, 2006 2:17 pm

I don't know if you guys have seen the ad, but we're getting the Saturday Night Main Event or whatever it is on Monday at 8:30 (Y)

Fri Jul 14, 2006 2:52 pm

i posted that a page ago.

the finish of the orton-hogan summerslam match has been decided.....and since hulk's contract allows him to stipulate finishes....it involves randy orton jobbing. fuck hogan, give it up already.

speculations for the punjab prison match are that it's a casket match....with a bodybag. whoopdee-fucking-doo.

Fri Jul 14, 2006 3:30 pm

Yeah read that. Nothing Punjabi-ish or prison-esque about it. Heck, Khali isn't even Punjabi

Fri Jul 14, 2006 4:29 pm

his gimmick is though, isn't it? mark calloway isn't dead either.

More trouble for WWE:

--An unhappy fan recently wrote to the Winnipeg Sun unhappy with some of the things said by Mr. Kennedy at a live show.

The fan was apparently shocked and embarassed when the undefeated SmackDown star refered to the live audience as "a bunch of lazy Indians."

The paper went as far as contacting local promoter Bob Holliday, who said that Mr. Kennedy was officially reprimanded for the comments he made.

Fri Jul 14, 2006 6:09 pm

lol @ cole pretending to have no clue what the punjabi prison match is, then stressing that they would be locked inside some structure or other......sounds like its not a casket match with a bodybag though, which is good.

Fri Jul 14, 2006 7:01 pm

Most people figure that it's a modified cage match or something

Fri Jul 14, 2006 7:18 pm

well, obviously (now). liked JBL's suggestion to put Tazz and the Little Bastard in a step-ladder match

Sat Jul 15, 2006 2:40 am

I wouldn't be surprised if the "creative" WWE writers made the Punjabi prison match = cage match with bodybags and a casket and a dash of hardcore.

does anyone else think DX will add more members this Saturday?

Sat Jul 15, 2006 1:51 pm

I hope Lashley dropping the title means he might be moving on to bigger and better things in the near future. I know Finlay is a veteran and all, but is this kind of push - including a title reign - really necessary? I know their brief feud helped Lashley along but I don't see how this helps him at all.

I wouldn't rule it out but I hope they don't.

Sat Jul 15, 2006 2:36 pm

what i want to know is why, recently, the us title has become a hot potato. and who the fuck is announcing the upcoming matches on RAW? cause it sucks.

Sat Jul 15, 2006 2:58 pm

They had Todd Grisham filling in for Lillian Garcia so they could sell her eing injured after Viscera gave her a Samoan Drop by mistake, I'm guessing she'll be doing SNME and will be back on RAW next week.

Sat Jul 15, 2006 6:01 pm

I think Todd Grisham is a better announcer than Garcia.

Sat Jul 15, 2006 11:12 pm

no, not that....that voice frank caliendo does in his ER promo imitation....where the two things come up just before commercail advertising what's still to come...."trish stratus takes on the sultry melina...diva action is next" or whatever....jr and king used to do the vocals for that bit.

although, speaking of garcia, that sudden friendship turn was the worst example of vince russo booking i have ever seen.

Sun Jul 16, 2006 12:56 am

yeah....they just want to milk the lilian injury angle :(

Sun Jul 16, 2006 10:09 am

if would make sense if it was two establish superstars doing an angle like that shows how despereate charlie hass is after becoming nothing without shelton in his corner. Viscera needs to be fired hes a pha piece of lard. he makes mark henry look like a legit star. 8-)

Sun Jul 16, 2006 12:41 pm

Mark Henry suffered a what WWE officials are saying is a fractured patella and also possibly a patella tendon rupture during the six man Smackdown match at tonight's Saturday Night Main Event taping. If it turns out that is the injury, he is set to have surgery later this week with Dr. James Andrews. If he goes under the knife, he is facing four to six months of rehab.

Henry suffered the injury when he charged Rey Mysterio in the corner, Rey moved and after Henry hit the turnbuckle, he crumpled to the mat and was favoring the leg. Without getting up, Henry managed to tag out and rolled to the floor, where he remained until the match ended.

good. now release that injury-prone crappy lump of lard. now.

Sun Jul 16, 2006 1:53 pm

You'd think the WWE would've learned their lesson by now, but I'm guessing he'll resurface again early next year.

Sun Jul 16, 2006 6:28 pm

Back again next year, when will Henry's contract end?

Sun Jul 16, 2006 6:37 pm

they gave him a ten year contract in 1996.....so hopefully soon

Sun Jul 16, 2006 8:16 pm

nah...he's contract was about to expire but the WWE just gave him an extension...don't remember for how many years though. I'm ok with Henry now just as long as he's not anywhere near the belt and he's booked like how he is now. he can be used to set up feuds with up and comers
