The thing is if you're just picking random pictures and saying "lets put something funny on this", then it's not really a meme. A meme would be a long running/often used forum joke, not just something made up in this thread.

A lot of these were more Worldwide jokes tbh, some I hadn't even seen posted here before lol but I don't read the NBA Talk forum much so maybe that's why.

We're looking more for suggestions/reminders of running jokes here in the Forum and then finding pictures that match. If you find a funny picture and it could apply to a running joke then fair enough, but starting with the picture and then forcing a meme isn't what we're going for here.

I have sinned for I made this post almost 12 hours prior to what I linked above. I feel unclean and unworthy.

Just wondering: can Trevor Ariza's label of "brick-shooter" be considered as a Forum Meme? I remember Modi saying in the Rockets thread that he gets frustrated watching Ariza brick shots and I just took it from there. Many people in the Dynasty & Association Stories caught on with it, and though it's not a big meme, I think it deserves a mention.

Probably not, that's the first I've heard of it.

As Jae and Andrew said, i dont think you guys dont understand what a meme is. It has nothing to do with what you think is funny or forum props or random jokes. Its gotta be something we've all seen/used and possibly ran into the ground (See Joel Anthony/AMMO). If you want to make an image macro for your own personal use in an assoc or something? Go to memegenerator, pick a pic, upload, and go to town.

That said, the images we've come up with so far are intended to be used.

Well I was just wondering. Ariza "brick-shooter" is definitely not something widely used by everyone, my mistake for not being aware of when something becomes a meme. Maybe it's something I should push for?
