KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (10-6) vs. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (13-3) SAT FEB 6 - 6:17 PM
Head Coaching Record: Todd Haley (14-17-0 .450)
Injury Report: LB Cameron Sheffield (Pinched Nerve) LB Jovan Belcher (Broken Elbow)
• The Chiefs will need to stop or at least restrain Drew Brees in order to win, if they can shut out Drew Brees and force Reggie Bush to run the football, it could prove to be a huge advantage to them, they themselves will also need to be weary of Darren Sharper if he start's and Tracy Porter against their top receiver Dwayne Bowe.
Head Coaching Record: Sean Payton (48-29-0 .620)
Injury Report: WR Lance Moore (Doubtful, Bruised Shoulder), LB Jonathan Vilma (Questionable, Foot Fress Fracture)
• Eric Berry is one of the best safeties in the NFL and he can do it all, he's better against the run but doesn't shy away from baiting quarterbacks in his rookie seasom, Drew Brees should be able to exploit him and Kendrick Lewis in air coverage. The Saints will want to blitz Matt Cassel into mistakes, Cassel threw less interceptions than Drew Brees which is saying something. The bigggest threat is Jamaal Charles, the Saints must restrict him and pound him hard all day to slow him down, if he gains over 150 yards rushing the Chiefs will probably win.
Prediction: A last second field goal sends the Chiefs home winners. Kansas City wins it all, 24-23.
